Saying that Olamide raised Phyno sounds weir.
Firstly, the Yoruba's never liked playing single Phyno's tracks except if Olamide got ft.
We Igbos started listening to Olamide's single tracks(especially me, infact as an Igbo I had to go back to Olamide's first track “Eniduro” 2010)after his first collabo (“ghost mode” 2012) with Phyno.
Olamide earned respects from the South and East from 2012(especially the east)all because of Phyno.
The sad truth is, the westerners have less interest on Phyno's musics, but of course we do love Olamide all because of Phyno.
Imagine if the tables were to be balanced?? Imagine if the westerners returned the percentage of love we easterners have for Olamide.
Before it used to be Dagrin, when Dagrin died on 22nd April 2010, plus Phyno's features Olamide rose to limelights.
