Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has announced that one of his newborn twins has passed away.

Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, said they were expecting twins at the end of October 2021.

The 37-year-old said on Easter Monday “our baby boy has passed away” in a post on social media, while confirming the birth of his baby girl.

“It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,” Ronaldo’s post added.

“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live in this moment with some hope and happiness.

“We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO railed against what he saw as a lack of free speech on Twitter, and said Twitter should open-source its algorithm to increase transparency in the company’s content moderation decisions. That would reflect a major shift in how Twitter operates.

“The code should be on Github so people can look through it and say, ‘I see a problem here,’ ‘I don’t agree with this,’ they can highlight issues, suggest changes,” said Musk.

Asked how he would change Twitter’s content moderation, Musk explained that his test for whether a platform adheres to free speech principles is simple: “Is someone you don’t like allowed to say something you don’t like? And if that is the case, then we have free speech.”

Musk mused that if a tweet were particularly controversial, perhaps the company should not promote that tweet, but added, “I think we want to be very reluctant to delete things and just be very cautious with permanent bans; timeouts are better.”

Musk acknowledged that even if he purchased the company, there would still be errors.

“I think everyone will still blame me for everything,” he said. “If I acquire Twitter and something goes wrong, it’s my fault, 100%. I think there will be quite a few errors.”

The family of the little boy from Kano State, who went viral for creating a replica of a major overhead bridge in the state has obviously been uplifted.

The good news is coming after Musa Sani made headlines and became an internet sensation following a display of his craftsmanship.

In the face of alleged injustice, Onofiok ‘s governorship aspiration has received boost from groups and civil society organizations that have endorsed him to run for the number one position in the state.

Akwa Ibom Youths under the umbrella of Akwa Ibom Youths Mandate, adopted Onofiok as their 2023 preferred candidate.

Arising from a recent special stakeholders meeting of the organisation in Uyo, the youths stated that the lawmaker “is the only aspirant that has articulated his blueprint and has clearly demonstrated capacity, experience and ability to execute the demands of the office of the governor of Akwa Ibom State.”

Six political groups had also endorsed Onofiok. The groups – Social Justice Movement (SJM), Democratic Alternative (DA), Akwa Ibom Students Congress (AKSC), Not Too Young To Lead Parliament (NTYLP), Political Action Initiatives (PAI), and Maintaining Peace From Justice Movement (MPJM), in a joint communiqué, stressed that they were throwing their weight behind him because “he has been with the poor, the high and the mighty and still remembers that there was serious hunger in the streets of the state.

“In 2019, Oniofiok almost lost his life while defending the cause of this state. It takes someone who has the love of his people to shun all approaches to sell out the House of Assembly to the then growing opposition to impeach the governor; it takes someone who is courageous, intelligent, experienced but humble to govern a state like ours”, the communiqué stated.

President Muhammadu Buhari has issued another warning to All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders.

The party’s national convention will be held on Saturday at Eagle Square in Abuja.

In a statement on Friday, the President cautioned the APC not to do anything “that will jeopardize the chances of the party in the 2023 General Elections”.

Buhari reminded chieftains of the limited time frame of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) timetable.

He noted that the guidelines released by the electoral umpire “does not permit us any room for delay or further squabbling”.

The Nigerian leader told the party to “consistently keep their eyes on the ball and refuse any distraction”

He said all have an obligation to conduct the convention “in a manner that not only fortifies the unity of our party but also improves the prospects of our electoral fortunes in the 2023 general elections”.

“We should all do our part to ensure the success of this convention. This will fortify us for the campaigns ahead of us”, the statement added.

The warning came two weeks after the President directed stalwarts to stop the name calling, backstabbing and infighting over the convention.

Labour MP, Chris Bryant, has insisted that Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich is ‘terrified of being sanctioned’ by the UK Government and is selling his property amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

He urged the UK Government to speed up its process of putting sanctions in place.
