Footage posted on social media less than an hour ago shows what seems to be a cold-blooded assassination during a parking lot hijacking.
Details received suggest the incident took place at an empty Welkom supermarket parking this morning.

Two men can be seen in the background looking around before slowly making their way towards a blue hatchback. A motorist sits in the driver’s seat unaware of what’s about to happen.

The suspects first order instructions through the window as one attempts to open the driver’s door. Seconds later a firearm emerges and shots are fired, the motorist who pronounced dead at the scene.

The hijackers remove him from his vehicle and drive away.

From the footage, it is unclear whether there was a second person in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
