2. 2by4—200pcs—#1,400 = #280,000

3. 3by2 —650pcs—#1,100 =#715,000

4. 2by6—480pcs—#2,500 = #1,200,000

5. 2by2—180pcs—#1,000 = #180,000

6. Nail 4 inch—2bags—#28,000 = #56,000

7. Nail 3inch—3bags—#28,000 = #74,000

8. Nail 2½ inch—1bag—#28,000 = #28,000

9. Transportation — #50,000

10. Total = #2,783,000

The workmanship is not included yet.

Assist me to peruse the above quotation. The building is a 4-bedroom bungalow. The length is 43ft by 72ft according to him. Also, he said the height of the kingpost is 22ft.

Can I see the plan or the picture of the building and did it have parapet or not,and where’s the site located so I can give you the best quotation ever with warranty.

Great work, please I’d like to know if it’s possible to estimate the amount longspan roofing sheets that would be needed to roof a 3bedroom that’s 60 meters and the king post is estimated to be around 5 meters

@redgem it is actually outrageous. It’s hard to Reap off anyone that’s been active on Nairaland property section for years. We have so much information at hand. From the Quote, I can see he added 250 naira each to the 2 by 3 woods and added to the other woods too. Plus his workmanship is his audacity for me. A whopping 700,000 when no be say I Dey build buckingham palace.

No. He shouldn't reduce the kingpost. It's okay or possibly increase to 4.5m to improve the run off / gradient.
