Politics / What To Expect From President Muhammadu Buhari Between 2015 - 2019. Part 1 by profedet: 1:48pm On Apr 01, 2015
I, Muhammadu Buhari believe that our politity, is broken. Our nation is in urgent need of a fundamental political reform. This requires honesty, integrity and forthrightness in order to improve governance, so as to make it transparent and accountable to the all Nigerian. Make me your Presidential candidate in both the Primaries and the Presidential elections.

THIS IS HOW I, WITH YOUR HELP, WILL FIX IT:
Politics and Governance
On Politics and Governance:

I, Muhammadu Buhari, believe that our politics is broken. Our nation urgently needs fundamental political reform and improvement in governance more transparency and accountable. If you nominate me in December, 2014 and elect me in February 2015, my administration will:

Initiate action to amend the Nigerian Constitution with a view to devolving powers, duties, and responsibilities to states in order to entrench true Federalism and the Federal spirit;
Strengthen INEC to reduce, if possible, eliminate electoral malpractices in Nigerian’s political life;
Attract the best and brightest of our sons and daughters into our politics and public service by aggressive recruitment of private sector people, academics, and professionals within Nigeria and in the Diaspora through internships, fellowships, executive appointments, and special nomination to contest elective offices;
Prevent the abuse and misuse of Executive, Legislative and Public offices, through greater accountability, transparency, strict, and implementable anti-corruption laws, through strengthening and sanitising the EFCC and ICPC as independent entities;
Amend the Constitution to remove immunity from prosecution for elected officers in criminal cases;
Restructure governance for a leaner, more efficient, and adequately compensated public service sector, while promoting effective participation of the private sector for more robust job creation programmes to employ the teaming youth.;
Require full disclosure in media outlets, of all government contracts over N100m prior to award and during implementation at regular intervals;
Reform and Strengthen the Justice System for efficient administration and dispensation of justice with the creation of special courts for accelerated hearing of corruption, drug trafficking, terrorism and similar cases of national importance;
Fully enforce the Freedom of Information Act l so that government held data sets can be requested and used by the public and then such data sets be publish on regular basis;
Amend the Constitution to require Local governments to publish their meeting minutes, service performance data, and items of spending over N10M.

Security and Conflict Resolution

On National Security and Defence: I will urgently secure the territorial integrity of the nation. I will never leave the defence of the nation in the hands of Hunters, Children, and Civilian JTF through the following:

Urgently address capacity building mechanisms of law enforcement agents in terms of quantity and quality as this is critical in safeguarding the sanctity of lives and property;
Establish a well trained, adequately equipped and goals driven Serious Crime Squad to combat insurgencies, kidnapping, armed robbery, ethno?religious and communal clashes, nationwide;
Consult and amend the Constitution to enable States and Local Governments to create city, Local government and State Policing systems, base on the resources available at each levels, to address the peculiar needs of each community. I will therefore work with the National Assembly to set and revised, when needed, boundaries of operations, for Federal, State, and Local government policing units, through new Criminal Justice legislation to replace the Criminal Code, the Penal Code and the Police Act.
I will push for more robust support in the Security and Economic stability of the West-African sub?region and African Continent as a whole. I will seek and maintain close and frank relationship with ALL of West Africa; Special relationship with South Africa and its Sub-region; UK, USA, Canada, EU, Asia, and the Middle East .

ON CONFLICT RESOLUTION, NATIONAL UNITY, AND SOCIAL HARMONY: I will

Establish a Conflict Resolution Commission to help prevent, mitigate, and resolve civil conflicts within the polity;
Bring permanent peace and solution to the insurgency issues in the North-East; the Niger Delta; and other conflict prone states and areas such as Plateau, Benue, Bauchi, Borno, Abia, Taraba, Yobe, and Kaduna in order to engender national unity and social harmony;
Initiate policies to ensure that Nigerians are free to live and work in any part of the country by removing state of origin, tribe, ethnic and religious affiliations from documentation requirements in our identification of citizens and replace these with State of Residence and fashion out the appropriate minimal qualification for obtaining such a state of residency, nation-wide.
On Foreign Policy: I will:
1. Make regional integration a priority within ECOWAS including free trade with a view to ensuring that common tariff currency are in use by the end of my term in office, under Nigeria’s guidance and leadership, base on the size of its market force;

Maintain a strong, close and frank relationship within the Gulf of Guinea, the Commonwealth, South Africa and the rest of the world.
Establish a special relationship with the leading emerging markets like Brazil; Russia, India and China (BRIC) and other strategic partners around the world.

My one penny advice,

Anyone who tells you to make an initial deposit as payment for logistics and all before an online transaction a person you do not know is obviously a scammer. Take the person's full name and account details, to the police or EFCC, they can get all about the person's address and location from the bank, and use same to track him or (them) down. Let us us rid Nigeria off scammers.

Literature / Re: 'my Names Are', Or 'my Name Is' by profedet: 1:45am On May 25, 2012
I have read with keen interest the culmination of this interesting scholastic debate. The quest for the right phrase of introduction;

1. My Name is …; and

2. My names are.

The fact however that revolves around the correctness of either of the two phrases is relative, and depends on the nature of introduction.

At the christening of a child particularly Nigeria, he or she is adorn with different names spanning culture, religion or ideology. If you were christened Funmilayo, Shola, Ronke and your surname being Fatai

The right introduction in the context one of your name and your surname is:
My name is Funmilayo Fatai.

The right introduction in the context more than one of your names and your surname will be:

My names are Funmilayo Ronke Fatai, based on the fact that you made mention of at least two of your names

Note however it becomes wrong if you introduce yourself as;

My names are Funmilayo Fatai Adewale, where the last two names herewith represent your surnames and not your names.

i guess that helped!!!

Hello all Naija Pro forex traders, Top of the morning to you all.

@ Concept

@ Jakpayen

i stated last week that the Euro was going down the drain, despite wide speculations otherwise even from respectable signals all around the globe indicating that it was shooting skyward, but guess what, they were all wrong. It's just that my compadre took me memory lane of old school manual trading, instead of the easy life auto. Well i tot it wise to blow the whistle, and fire the warning shot.

I will dissect the market, and see what i iwill come up with for my NL investors in FX for this week.

Meanwhile, see what my autobot had for me this morning, comparing with page 67

Business / Re: Forex Trade Alerts - Season 3 by profedet: 2:54pm On Dec 09, 2011
@ JAKpayen, nice analysis i must say,

But have you seen the good old transformer 2, the US government wanted Optimus prime Ileader of the good guys) to pack up the autobots and leave earth alone for humans, cos they so thought the Decepticons (bad guys) were after the good guys (Autobots) and not humans. My main point is the reply  Optimus prime gave them " WHAT IF YOU'RE WRONG". Transformer 3 (Dark of the moon), the lateset sequel confirm that the US government was totally wrong. So, what if you decision to go long on EU is wrong bro?, plsssssssssssss  ruminate on this.
Business / Re: Forex Trade Alerts - Season 3 by profedet: 2:41pm On Dec 09, 2011
@ Concept,    BAAAAAAAAAAAAD,  EURO

i hope u did not go short on EU a couple of hours ago as i did tell u, cos that was the 'LEAP OF DEATH' if you did. BUUUUUUUUUUUT, luck might just be on your side if, " you had no stop loss, or you had any like above, 1.3500.

Now let me bring my "A" game into this: have you seen the latest movie " Green Lantern"? At the intro of the movie the the test pilot put the fighter plane to the test, flew above 50,000 feet into space, guess what happened Concept?. The plan took a nose dive accelerating at a supersonic velocity, ended up crashing.

PEOPLE, EURO is going down NOW, and its gonna be bad, Massive, and Herculean men. So, if you had a sell position,  you better hold, for buy positions - Your time is up. This drop might just see us through the beginning of next week.   Ariosssss guys
