shosky1794: I think you guys should just change the name of this thread. Th last time i check, it is still 'Android, Anyone? Part II'. The Android in the name of the thread should be emphasized. If the name of the thread is still 'Android, Anyone?', I wonder the 'discrimination' then. I have been using xda-developers.com for a while and I have not anywhere on that website where those guys will laugh at or abuse somebody(whether directly or indirectly) for using a particular phone and most of the guys who claim to know here got some(if not all) of the things they know now from that website.

Those guys there are pretty very young(guys between 11-19 years) and they do not brag/boast about the kind of phone they use or what they know. The worst thing they will do is to tell you they don't know anything about your phone or direct you to an earlier post or whoever they think knows about your problem.

But what do we have here, a bunch of guys who don't know a third of what those guys know discriminating against a some particular brands of phones even when the phones come with original Android OS. This is just the only reason this country is still where it is today. Steve Jobs(of blessed memory) and co. started very small and i know it's by tweaking anything computer but look at where Apple is today.

If only Nigeria can have a Tecno, an Infinix and the likes that it can call it own, I am sure the country will be the better for it. This can only start from you guys, just get original, please

i was about saying the same,necessity is the mother of all inventions. By limitations of using low end phones alotta lessons r learnt,till today computers still read n process in binary irrespective of the hardware. So no to discrimination n YES to enlightenment

It has come to the fact that a lotta noobs take no pleasure than to work their smartphones out into a game console,I personally I'm guilty of such act but come to think of the so many features of an Android os,should it be the only function of the phone? There is a vast range of apps that can enhance the features of this smartphone ... what do you think?

I feel BlackBerry is ready to fight for their most 'outstanding' trademark - BBM.
And that is because they know they can do it better, and deliver better.
But I'm surprised a lot of people are celebrating the decision to attack BlackBerry users or fans. (I'm suspecting Nokia & Tecno chinko brothers) If you care to do a little research on BBRY stocks you would realize that investors are taking this decision happily. So no sweat abeg!

What is important in business is the future and the trends of competition.
BlackBerry wants to help users of BB OS 6.0 and older to upgrade to a minimum of BB OS 7.0 Smartphones (so that they can experience BBM Voice, WiFi and faster downloads etc) and also for the BB OS 10 to become the new beginning - Z10, Q10, R10 - sweet phones to die for.




Now I asked myself this question too.
And this is my conclusion, BlackBerry runs the most secure mobile server in the world which is based on the BB OS. (you can't beat this with your Android or iOS).
A lot of corporate businesses depend on this and they know it is a powerful tool.

I would have only advocated they create a single model of BlackBerry running Android, let's say R10 instead of stopping the entire BB OS.

But sorry, if you use Android on Tecno phone My God! Of all the 'Android phones in the market Abeg! The quality of the brand is still low.
It's like having Opera Mini on Tecno, Java on Tecno, chinko na chinko !
I'm just sorry for Nokia users.

Tecno N3 is not meant for only gaming as most ppl in this thread with a toyless child misuse the supergadget. U hv a wide range of themes and doc viewers, i get weather forcast,daily news hourly, vid tutorials,vocal training ,autotuning, special effects,designing freehand and lots more.
