Yes o. I planted green vegetable, can't differentiate if it's soko or not but It is very slow growing. While the okro I planted last week is growing fast.
I can't lay my hands on pepper seed and it's paining me.
I love to have ugwu too. But the phobia for snakes won't allow that.
Unfortunately, I have ewedu that full everywhere, despite that I didn't plant a seed of it o.

Please plant ugwu. Ugwu doesn't attract snakes o. I have been into ugwu for 20 years now. No stress !

As Nigeria de go, soon pepper go enter #1,000. And one can't do without it.

From August i will have all including soya beans for oil and soyabean meal production. Starting with maize. I am adding tarpaulin ponds and then Tilapia as I farm on the side. No time for passiveness and complain, complain and folding of arms

This is Another Dimension.

Majority of These Stems From The High Cost of Fuel.

I have spent at least 2.5 M and still in the process. Fuel now ruined everything. My passive funds for project development is bleeding

High cost of herbicides

High cost of tractor operations

High cost of manual workers

Scarcity of farm labour

High cost of fuel for farm operations. I am buying 1,600 Naira per litre and I have to move with motorcycle daily.


The economy is inter connected. One expensive resource costs that is affected affects others. Example I bought bag of elubo for 30k before. It rose by 10k in just one week.

High cost of fertilizers. What I would spend 30,000 Naira before per acre now costs 75,000 Naira per acre within a space of five years

High cost of general maintenance operations, just feeding my workers before harvest, I am spending 150-250k monthly on feeding my inhouse workers



Work implements costs. Ordinary power tillers a farmer should have costs 300,000 Naira.



No single financial institutions gives loans. Nigerians are unwilling to partner with farmers. I have tamed the entire Fulani in my community but to get the little funds to push project to completion has been hard because the government policies is affecting us badly

I think the fuel issue has reduced as someone bought at N605 for me at a filling station yesterday in Lagos without queue.

Can you imagine. I am bringing my 30 litres kegs to Lagos today

Buying Fuel at 1,600 Naira per liter is wounding me o. It is seriously causing crises. When would we begin to speak up, or is It only my location in Nigeria that's buying fuel at crazy rates ? I thought it was a joke a week ago at 1,200 Naira per liter, but now buying it 1,500 - 1,600 consistently is crippling business
