Water dispenser provides delicious, cold or hot water on demand and is useful in homes and offices.

Common problems with water dispenser
Leaking tap on water cooler

Option 1 – Check that the tap is tightly screwed on – in may need a slight twist to tighten it in place.

Option 2 – If the above didn’t work, the problem may be the spring or washer in the tap preventing it from closing properly. You will need to remove the bottle, drain the reservoir into a bucket, and call out an engineer to replace the tap.

Water leaking from drip tray

Your drip tray is most likely overflowing. It needs to be emptied regularly to prevent spillage. Simply slide the tray out from the cooler unit and empty in the sink.


Blocked Water Cooler Spout
If the rate of water flow has dropped significantly or no water is coming out at all, a blocked spout may be the cause. Debris or minerals that are in the water could clog it. Clean the water cooler dispenser to see if this fixes the problem.

If you still cannot get any water through your cooler, the problem may be air in the system. To fix, get a friend to help you. Remove the bottle and have the other person turn both taps on while you put the water bottle back in place. This forces the air through the system so that water can flow again.
