So sorry he has digged his own political grave. |
This March go red for Rivers State. Everyone is throwing caution to the wind. Nobody wants to give a chance. |
Do you see me mention any group or party or section of the Country? No! The trait cuts across the nation, no party, no religion, no ethnic group, is exempted. But if you want me to name names, them APC has them in numbers! LegalWolf: |
Very simple insight will tell that it's a planned invasion. The suya meat was just a trigger as there was no other way to induce the fracas. This invasion may be as a result of the owner's failure to pay for Y2025 dues Or As a result of change in the Police leadership in the area Or A revenge for a fight over a woman. |
Yes! It's a club! You must have those sterling qualities to belong. Only criminals can make it. Just look at the credentials of all our so called Leaders in Nigeria, you have a common feature, indictment for crimes. Now, the Monarchs are added to the list |
The truth is Nigeria is no better! |
Sad! Blood everywhere. |
Yes, that's what you have when you're but a beggar. The US, except in extreme cases, has never abandoned her citizens in foreign detention for trial. But trust us, if need be, we extradite their family in order to "maintain diplomatic relations" |
Trash? It's even a criminal offence but people get away with it Obiedun: |
Those who has good neighbours using solar system don't know what God has done for them. You can imagine my neighbour is using Sunking 500x with 32" tv. His wife is using Android phone using type c charger while he's using Itel 15 series button phone. He refused to let the wife remove the type B charger that came with the bundle to plug the type but prefers to be paying N300 to charge the wife's phone. His complain? He doesn't want the port to worn. |
Unlawfully detaining wife for just 5days? What happened to the Police and other law enforcement agencies that detained innocent Nigerians some for eternity? A country where a law breaker is also a law enforcer |
So the lecturer supposed to report him/her to the Facebook or WhatsApp group, Instagram or TikTok? If that student is sensible, he owes the lecturer a million truckloads of gratitude. |
A very sad commentary by a supposed Statesman. These men actually do not know the economic implications of their actions. They really do not know what signals the "fall in price" of food items. Currently, FIJ keeps reporting on smuggling of rice into the country. 2. Despite the implementation of the new minimum wage, the average Nigeria worker's purchasing power is low as compared to previous time. 3. The farmers must fulfill their credit obligations in order to secure new ones for the current planting season. Hence, they have to sell at rates that will ensure they raise revenue 4. The incessant threats of food blockage by the north to the South is a call to look inwards. Though it's still a far cry from self sufficiency, the South is braving for the unknown. 5. Ultimately, the resources are scared. |
What's end time there? Now that everyone is eying GWB? The man is trying to set a record but sadly, this is never new to the society. It's been occuring but never got reported |
The last line to help a woman win against any man is to accused the man of sexual assault. It remains an accusation and an allegation until she brought out evidence beyond reasonable doubt. Yet sexual assault against the female folk in the society seems to be a norm in almost all society. Honestly, I am yet to know any area of life that the women are not abused. Yet justice is elusive at every given time. She won't get justice anywhere. |
Different strokes for different people on same offence. When they hide the identity of the Suspect, just notice it's for a show. The fellow is connected and would "repent, rehabilitated and reintegrated I to the society", |
When did the legislature starts sacking Executive Appointees? What if Fubara oblige their moves and forward names of same Commissioners to them as many times as they keep rejecting them since they want everyone to be mad? Just clinching to straws |
I think by the way the RHA (Martins Class) is going, Fubara must have committed offences much heavier than just budget presentation. They should start the impeachment process even without any prior warning or threat of it. It's a long walk to freedom. All they are after is a share of the allocations which for now only the salaries are certain when the dust settles. If they had keep they asslicking loyalty, the Speaker would have even think of owning property in Dubai, London and the US. It's a loss except both sides settled for compromise. BondRiv: |
Against which benchmark are these men celebrating the price drop? Tinubu 1st year VS 2nd year. OR Tinubu Vs Buhari tenure? Or The Incorruptible APC V's the Corruptible PDP? |
Just that the lawyers must show up. Send Natasha has already incidented the matter in the court, and yet wants the Senate to deliberate on it? 2. Akpabio's wife also drag the same matter to Court and she still wants it heard in the Senate? 3. She has obtained a Court Order stopping the Senate from prbobing her yet she wants same Senate to probe SP Akpabio? Nna mek una follow see the kind country we dey. Practicing law in a lawless country |
They should know the limits to their power. They are lawmakers while RSIEC are implementers. With the existing laws, they have little to no control over election matters. Just that we play so much with everything and then expect a better country. |
And you wonder if they're no politically connected people there. All they care is their pocket, securing a future comfort for their ill-bred children. Now that lives are gone, and made public, you will see "patriots" and activists. May the souls of the departed ones rest in peace. |
That's an irony! She wants the same Senate to probe SP Akpabio and secure Court order to stop her probe. Either the Senate probe both of them or let it slip |
Hahahhahahah. That's for the strong minds. I remembered telling my coursemate that year, 2008, that I lost my father. The guy Dio hand into his pocket brought his phone and dial another of our mate. When the guy picked the call he told "our friend has owambe". Nna, I didn't know whether to cry or laugh but truly it goes Owambe at last. Nowadays, we celebrate death more than life. |
Ill advice. How can she go against the authority that brought her to limelight? She has to save her life, and mental health |
You see those guys, they quarrel in the day and friends at night. Last last, na Rivers people go suffer. |
Tinubu Minister Accused of Commissioning Non-existent Road in Edo Tori NewsMar 3, 2025 4:01 PM The youths described the commissioning of the road as a calculated attempt to cover up the continuous neglect of the area. The Minister for Regional Development Commission, Engr Abubakar Momoh has been called out for commissioning a nonexistent road in Edo state. He was called out by a group under the aegis of Ugu Youths for Developmental Change, UYDC, in Edo State. DAILY POST reports that the youths, during a protest in Benin City on Monday, described the commissioning of the road as a calculated attempt to cover up the continuous neglect of the area. The coordinator of the youths, Monday Osemwenkhae, who spoke at the secretariat of the Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, said their members cut across youths from over 13 communities in Ugu Ward in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of the state. Osemwenkhae, who listed some of the communities, including Urhehue, Oben, Odighi, and Obanokhoro, alleged that the said road was nonexistent. He also alleged that the minister’s action was calculated to cover up the continuous neglect of the area, which houses the largest gas deposit in West Africa. According to him, “We are here to say that the said Abraka-Oben Road, which was commissioned by the Honourable Minister for Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, does not exist anywhere in our locality. “The said road is a calculated attempt to cover up the continuous neglect of our area by his ministry and its affiliate agencies and commissions like the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for a very long period. “For emphasis, the Oben oil field houses the highest gas deposit in West Africa, and the Ministry of Regional Development is supposed to handle the development of its environs with keen interest. “But what we have just witnessed is the commissioning of a nonexistent road with our community’s name attached, to divert attention from the neglect of roads in the area. “The link roads to Oben are the Ugo-Obozogbe-Iguelaba road and the Umoghun-Nokhua-Oben road. The former is currently undergoing construction courtesy of community funds and a private company. “The name ‘Oben’ has been used as a cash cow for many years, and we expect the present Nigerian government, led by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, to change the narrative rather than having his minister commission a nonexistent road using our community’s name,” he alleged. However, when contacted by phone, the Minister, Engr Abubakar Momoh, denied commissioning a nonexistent road. Momoh explained that the road commissioned runs from the Delta State end, Abraka to Oben. “They should go through Abraka to Oben. We didn’t say Benin to Oben; we said Abraka to Oben—that is, from the Delta end—so they should get it clear. “You can now move from Oben to Abraka without stress. The ministry previously worked on the road from Benin for up to 20 kilometers. “The other road they are talking about, from Abraka to Benin, has its first phase completed. It is a 10-kilometer road—Abraka to Oben, not Benin to Abraka,” he stated. |
I expect this protest should have erupted from Imo State who benefits more from the SP since his days as the 001 of Akwa Ibom State. Sha! |
Sanwo-Olu is just lucky that he didn't try that in his first term, that would have ended his stay in Alausa. Now, he's no longer making headlines in the news since Obasa returned to Nigeria. Power Pass Power |
