Is like me trading with Mesmer and using wese as escrow, to me I trust both equally.

Don't get me wrong. I didn't tell you people to stop using escrow but put checks on it plus escrow is not the only way.

As a matter of fact, going to office for one on one transaction or trading with a highly trusted exchange company via their verified website or whatsapp is far better than the kind of escrow being run here.

My boss, Legalwealth who owns IJAM Exchange Limited with a physical office in Lagos since 2014 is a highly reputable person on nairaland for more than 10 years. She actually has a point with the escrow thing. In as much as escrow is advisable, you can't 100% trust escrow.

You were the lady that had an issue with one "trusted" trader here right?

He could have passed as an escrow for someone at a time.

The guys mentioned as escrows are verified and trusted (I know cos I use one of them), but even at that, I still see any transaction with a stranger online, be it with escrow or not as "risk".

It's just knowing which risk you prefer to go for.

1. Do you know the so-called "angels" you are using for ESCROW to their houses, offices, families, etc.?
2. Are they officially registered and known for ESCROW in Nigeria?
3. In case the transaction you use them as ESCROW becomes police, efcc, etc. matter, are they willingly ready to put mouth?

As someone earlier said here, it is not a must a seller or buyer agrees to use any of the "angels" recommended for ESCROW here in as much there is or are better ways of securely completing transactions.

Oh Pls!!! You know you can refund the money back to the sender and attach a note that explains to the sender how you came about the funds in the first place.

That alone indemnifies you of the funds.... You can't keep a fund that's not yours in the first place in a receiving account and claiming you are not a yahoo boy sir.

The first thing you ought to do is refund the money back and let @kalma do his worst.
