Some of the reasons why your Inverter Batteries no longer backup for long. Allowing batteries to stand too long discharged between charges. Ones your batteries are discharged; always make sure they are recharged as soon as possible. In the case of irregular power supply, we advise you get solar panels installed If a battery is fully discharged and left standing before being fully recharged, this leads to eventual Sulfation. What is Sulfation in battery? Sulfation occurs when a battery is deprived of a full charge, it builds up and remains on battery plates. When too much sulfation occurs, it can impede the chemical to electrical conversion and greatly impact the performance of the battery High Temperature: Keeping batteries in temperatures above 35°C. High temperatures increase internal discharge and cause a standing battery drain. It is advised that you keep your batteries in a ventilated space to avoid overheating.
