Nigerian singer and actor Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has won his first movie award
The actor won the 2016 AMVCA best actor in a comedy for his role as Segun in Funke Akindele's TV series "Jenifa."
Falz beat IK Ogbonna, Kelechi Udegbe, Ime Bishop Umoh, Bowoto Jephthah to win the award.
The actor plays the role of a hairdresser Segun, who works in the same salon with Jenifa. Along the line, they fell in love and had an affair.

The “Johnny” crooner Yemi Alade releases the track list of her much-anticipated sophomore album titled “Mama Africa” ahead of its official release date set for March 26.
