It is much worse, they take pride in capturing and maiming soldiers especially commissioned officers, sometime in 2020 when the word was battling COVID, our small camp was almost overrun, the thing that saved us looked so little the but in our lives it was so significant, it was one small boy who was sent to repair our tanks from the engineering department, in the nick of time he got one right and fired rapidly at the animals attacking, that gave the troops morale and we went all in thus repelling the enemy, I shudder at what my fate would've been had I been captured

My 17 year service came to a fortunate end in 2023 sir. Looking at pictures of the boys in camp and using red biro to mark RIP on their heads. 780 in and only 304 alive with so many handicapped and barely living

The job of the Nigerian military is to protect the territotial integrity of Nigeria, safeguarding the country from external threats which include iswap. That is what they signed up for, nobody forced them to sign up for it.

Now back to you please tell us as a young Lieutenant who has been trained to follow orders, you are assigned guard duty even if it's a public toilet in your village that position is in our terms 'your mama, your papa, your wife, your life' if the Honorable minister had contacted his counterpart in the defense ministry he'd have saved himself that embarrassment, baba you laughing and getting an erection over military officers losing their lives is disgraceful and downright disrespectful.
