The Bank Verification Number, commonly called BVN, is a biometric identification system implemented by the Central Bank of Nigeria to curb or reduce illegal banking transactions in Nigeria. It is a modern security measure in line with the Central Bank of Nigeria Act 1958 to reduce fraud in the banking system. Because this is a biometric system, it is not possible to drop or change it, unless you manage to change your fingerprints! |
Be smart, be creative. Do not let the pain and emotion cloud your thinking. Suck it up and think! There are lots of ways you can get your money back and even if you do not get the money back, the scammer will be identified. The first thing people do is to report to law enforcement. But this is wrong. They get scam reports everyday. What makes yours different? Absolutely nothing! You will end up joining the list of scam cases waiting to be solved. Reporting to law enforcement should be the last stage. The first thing you should do is contact this scammer again as a different person and attempt to gain his trust while you gather as much evidence and info as you can. The second step would be to contact a cyberspecialist who will help you fill all the missing parts of the puzzle and give you further info. You may contact law enforcement after this. Making a fraud report with alot of evidence and data that will lead to an actual arrest is way different than making an ordinary fraud report with tears in your eyes. Be smart. If this was really helpful, kindly comment, like and share |
