Believeintruth: You and the other guy that liked your comment are stupid walahi. If you need proof go and dissect the unitary decree. He didn't abolish the regions he changed the nomenclature to say that regions will be called a collection of provinces to be governed by a provincial administrator instead of governor. Now please what is the definition of a region? A region is a collection of provinces, which is exactly what Ironsi said in his unitary decree. Once again try get sense and stop being stupid. The first and the last lines of your comment belong to the elders in your village. |

Both Unical & Uniport were established in 1975 by Gowon's military regime and not Eastern region's property All those things you listed up there were actually the replicates of what Western Region had earlier established in 1950s/60s |

Namaster: The Russia-Ukraine war is one war where I can say with confidence that BOTH side are right.
Ukraine is right to want to protect themselves from Russia and Putin by joining NATO.
Putin is right for NOT wanting anymore NATO bases surrounding his country.
I sympathise with BOTH sides and think both sides are waging a JUST war.
Most people who support Ukraine do so because Ukraine is the clear UNDERDOG while Russia is the POWERFUL aggressor.
Ukraine will forever regret their decision to RELINQUISH their Nuclear Warheads. You got it right. The major undoing of Ukraine is relinquishing their nukes to Russia and Russia never honoured the agreement. |

Politics › Re: SW Sharia: Christianity's Fear-mongering And Campaign For Ignorance by Raf4: 10:28am On Dec 26, 2024 |
Whyai: As usual, Nigerian Christians have found their voice and identity again (from the lagoon) at the news of sharia court in South west Nigeria.
Another case of christians forcing themselves into muslim spaces, in their typical fascist attention-starved way. They project their ignorance and insecurities on muslims, who barely see them nor acknowledge their barkings.
For those of us who aren't pretending to be stupid. We know shariah court for our muslim friends and nighbors is a necessity. The desire for Sharia in secular societies is limited to personal or family law and is intended to coexist with secular constitution.
There are needs covered under this law to protect Muslims in a way that suits them and has nothing to do with Christianity. The jews do their thing despite having far more strict discriminating rules with others and Christians in particular.
Some Muslims in secular societies may express interest in Sharia (Islamic law) for various reasons tied to their cultural, religious, and social needs.reasons are:
1. Religious Identity: Sharia provides guidelines for personal conduct, family matters, and ethics, helping Muslims maintain their faith and identity in a secular environment.
2. Cultural Preservation: Adhering to Sharia-based practices allows Muslims to preserve cultural and religious traditions, particularly in areas like marriage, divorce, and inheritance.
3. Perceived Justice: Some Muslims see Sharia as a system that aligns with their ethical and moral principles, addressing issues they believe are insufficiently covered by secular laws.
4. Community Solidarity: Following Sharia can foster a sense of unity and shared values within Muslim communities in secular societies.
5. Recognition of Practices: Some Muslims advocate for aspects of Sharia, such as arbitration in family or financial disputes, to be legally recognized in the same way religious arbitration is sometimes allowed for other faith groups.
6. Misconceptions: Support for Sharia may sometimes stem from misunderstandings about its scope, with some individuals focusing on its role in personal and family life rather than its broader implications.
But as usual, low life losers wouldnt read till the end. They neither protect Christianity in their homes nor church. They don't care for the bible, and certainly not for its rulings. They pretend secular laws are compatible with core Christian law, and hope the whole world keep forgetting the facts.
Mind your Christian evangelism and maybe there will be hope for Christianity. Hating on muslims and sponsoring misconception campaign only expose your failings. Heck even Hinduism is more relevant in 2024. Anyone who is born of his father should try one nonsęnse sharia court in SW and have their sorry aśs regret it for life. If you want sharia court, then port to Zamfara or better still to Somalia or Afghanistan. |

Guys stop giving these lazy pulpit thieves your hard earned money. Whoever or whatever made the universe will NEVER EVER EVER NEVER need your money for A N Y T H I N G whatsoever.
Any human being who collects money from other humans on behalf of an unseen entity is a THIEF . You don't need a judge to tell you that.
Any human who gives money to another human with the mindset that he/she is giving money to the creator of the universe or any unseen entity is a big fool.
Any man who tells you he works for the maker of the universe is a thief. He works for his stomach. He must one day come to tell you his "all-sufficient " god whom he works for needs your money. The being behind the existence of the universe is not a human like Dangote, Elon Musk or Tinubu that will need workers and money. Wise up He doesn't need your money, he'll rather feed you and your likes. |

AcadaWriter0: No one has exclusive control over violence. The Houthis responded with a hypersonic ballistic missile that evaded detection by the Iron Dome. This action was in response to the bombings conducted by Israel on ports and the airport in Yemen's capital. The Yemeni people have vowed to continue their attacks on Israel until it ceases its actions in Gaza and stops harming innocent civilians, including children. It is essential to end the violence in Gaza and ensure the safety of women and children. They deserve to have their land returned and to live with dignity. People should not be forcibly displaced from their own land. They are men and superheroes now abi? But when Israel responds now, they will become pregnant women and children 🙄 🤔 |
