My exact experience with my former landlord, I used to renew the rent three months before expiry. He always had a pressing reason to ask me for money. Either his son wants to write WAEC or his daughter wants to graduate. He has grown children who are working, but he would make excuses for them on why they can't give him money:I'm the billionaire without responsibilities. To make things worse he increased the rent by 30%, I didn't complain, only for him to come three days later and said his children said the 30% increase was too small, so I had to make it 50%. Knowing that I was already fed up with him, and won't spend extra year there, I didn't argue. Three months before my rent expired, I left his house and unused balance for him.

After I left the house, he called to inform me that someone else has rented the house, and the person is paying close to 200% of what I was paying. I congratulated him. One month after the new person packed him, baba called that I should borrow him urgent 5k.

I really dislike people that can't have a simple sensible conversation without looking for a way to sneak politics into it. These guys are not the first to lose an election. They should move on already. Not like their candidate understands the job even if given the chance
