This AUDusd chart and I have draw those support and resistance since July and price respect those lines when ever it get there.i was longing usdcad at support last week it broke support and it my stop loss now it came to retest that support which now turn resistance to sell down again.i have noting against anybody but I will not allow anyone here to mislead others.i don't trade ICT or SMC but I will never say rubbish about them cuz they work for those who believe in them.quick secret any support which got broken will turn resistance in future if trader can be patient and recognise it when about to happen

It was broken after it reject price down twice which shows buyer are in control.

Now my own quick question to you is if support and resistance is not working.how do we trade.do we just open mt5 and start opening position ?

It depends on your mind if you will become successful in this trading business or not.try get education and stick to what work for you.stop looking for holy grail.
Support and resistance are foundation of trading.infact supply and demand are foundation of every market.i was watching a TV show on wazobia.one fish Seller was complaining about foreign fish investor are leaving Nigeria because of cost of doing business.the seller say demand are high for fish more than supply which make fish price skyrocket.
Support and resistance work well on higher tf don't let anyone bring confusion to your trading journey.i have said people are longing us30 at resistance since last week.us30 has been falling since that day and I see that with the help of support and resistance.

Attempting to be self taught in this market is an extremely torturous journey.

Use money to buy time by looking for a mentor (please note that I am not teaching anyone from Nairaland).

If you cannot learn from the "big" mentors, pick one of his progeny that is affordable and learn from that one. As you make money, you can now pay bigger amounts for trainings.

The only other way, which in my opinion is far better, is to ASK GOD TO TEACH YOU.

Talking about mentor bro.someone need to be careful.many thing online are fake.i have to logout of my twitter account to avoid all this fake screen shot.one particular is teaching people how to trade volatility but he never trade it with $20 above before.always flipping $10-$15 to $200 but one thing he will never show is how many times he blow account before he finally got it right.they will only post the successful one to lure people for mentorship.bro there's many fake things that is going on in this Forex industry.infact someone needs to know who to follow.only one guy who trade crypto future later confess that sometimes.he hit 5 stop loss before it sometimes catch big move that he usually drop.everybody will learn basic maybe on YouTube or babypip and discover what work for them whether indicator, supply and demand, ICT, SMC and AK-47. bro I discovered recently that I don't need to learn anything again but I need to work on myself.every strategy works but it depends on trader mindset a guy I drop a call a guy with $36 open position with 5lot while me with $50 open with 0.10 lot.it depend on trader mindset.

On the same chart you posted, open the W1 and the resistance disappears.

Also, if we all keep trading between resistance and support, it means market would never make a new resistance or support. when you swing trade, you just follow the swings - you are not trend trading. As for me, resistance and supports are not what I avoid, it is range; as long as I'm not trapped between resistance and support (ranging), I activate.

I will now post the same chart you posted, I will point out the resistance there and you can tell me if you would not buy because it is a resistance.
So, let's say we are at that closing of the 3rd bullish candle at resistance, would you buy this or ignore because it is at resistance?
I will then post the outcome (how it played out) after your answer

I mostly trade price action on daily/ 4hr and I trade base on what price has done on particular zone before. so that buying at resistance look strange to me. but I forgot when it comes to trading everyone is right.if we write 6 down and two people stand opposite each other.first person will see 6 while the second person will see 9.they are both right base on how they're viewing the number.

Not here to bash or argue with anyone.am still learning and am here to ask question so I can grow.
