Mosco100: A Third Class is also honorable and should be given the same accolades and opportunities as a First Class. The fact that it's a class deserves honorable mention. Wrong. First class, Second class upper and second class lower are the divisions. Third class is fourth. And yes, bronze medal is a medal and deserves its fair share of pride on the podium captured on camera and broadcasted to millions of homes worldwide. On capitalist investors' time and money. |

Sammydreezy: Hello everyone.
If you've not been offered admission, there might be an issue you need to go and sort Physically at UNILAG. Unfortunately, there is no official communication to applicants that are still awaiting admission.
In my case, I selected Full time for my course instead of Part time. The department does not offer the course FULL TIME. I was advised to write a letter of appeal to the Dean, School of Post Graduate Studies for a change in programme. Hopefully it is resolved soon.
I heard the supplementary list is being concluded. So we all need to act fast. . They need to go through their application portal very carefully. Why should there be a way on the pprtito apply for full time for a course when they do not offer full time for that coui? Resulting in all the stress you must have gone through. No a fault of yours, it becomes your problem. And I am sure you even got billed 5000 or so for the change of programme. In my case, their categorisations was not very clear and I made a near same error. And I have had to go through quite some stress to rectify. If the application portal with the courses was tidy, unambiguous and neatly put forward, the entire stress I went through was needless. Anyway, does anyone know when the planned convocation is? |

kushercain: I got this puppy recently. I wasn't around so I had a family member arrange everything. The delivery (from Abuja) and feeding it for like 2 months till I came back.
I told her to get a German Shepherd but when I came back I could tell it wasn't a German Shepherd. I automatically thought it was an Alsatian.
The dog is so energetic, like he cannot rest for a second except when I lock it in the cage. It likes to play and my other dog (Eskimo) avoids him like discrimination levels lol.
Anyway he's about 4 months now and i believed he was an Alsatian, till this morning I released him in the compound and he ran around for like an hour (I kid you not)
I asked chat gpt what I can do to make him calm down and posted his picture only for chat gpt to tell me he's a Belgian Malinois I.e those dogs used for herding sheep, races etc.
I checked the pictures online and the resemblance is quite uncanny. But I'm not really an expert on dog breeds.
So to the experts in the house, please what breed is this dog? You should be glad. I would not give up a whole Belgian Malinois for a GSD, Alsatian or whatever else you had in mind. |

I have been advocating for a reclaim of Ilorin. Perhaps, in the not too distant future, Yoruba would put it in the front burner. Even if Yoruba would like to practice islam, extremism should not be welcomed in any Yoruba communities. |

Is there anyone thing we can point out that this government has improved on, with everyone agreeing?
Everybody agrees even though Yar'adua was slow, rule of law of being strengthened.
Everybody agrees even though there was corruption under Jonathan, Nigerians fared well.
With so much pain and compromises from citizens during subsidy removal, floating the Naira etc, what positive impact can we all agree, without controversy, that Nigerians are benefitting from these so-called reforms by Tinubu.
I AM NOT A POLITICIAN. I JUST WANT A PAINLESS LIFE AS AN EVERYDAY CITIZEN!!!!!
Just pain, more pains and yet more pains! And I'm sure after this tax thing, he is not done, more pains coming!!!
Just pains!. It's really just sad.

Politics › Re: NLC To Nigerians: Reject ‘distorted’ Tax Law by RedChair: 12:55pm On Dec 25, 2025 |
FILEBE: Reject the new Tax law entirely! In a country where the government provides almost nothing for its citizens deserves no tax from the citizens. Security . Police aren't trusted Health care. Electricity. Good roads Social amenities
Is it Somone whose Dad was kidnapped and paid 20m for ransom without the security operatives helping would want to pay the new tax?
Someone whose son died in the hospital because Nepa took light or because the General Hospitals were short staff, is it that person that would want to pay this Tax?
Or is it car owners who fix their cars regularly due to bad road that would want to pay?
Water cooperation almost doesn't exist again. We drill our boreholes and get water ourselves.
Cost of living is over the roof!
We need to ask ourselves these questions: What are the government doing with the taxes they have been collecting?
What are they doing with the money gotten from subsidy removal?
We keep hearing Politicians looting money in Billion dollars and nothing is being done. Are these the people I will till and turn the soil for ? So that they can loot the money
We don't need any new tax law. When Nigeria works the way it should, we will gladly pay the tax without force. Very well said. Very pertinent questions. There is so little to show for the so much compromises the citizenry has had to put up with. |

GmoreG: It will not sound well if the govt interference Is to pave way for Kwan 1 to be on d vacant stool of Awujale of Ijebu Land..... This will not only put a big dent on the traditional chieftaincy protocol but also bring about gradually abolishing the Yoruba Culture as a whole. I'm not detesting Kwam 1 though cos I'm a big fan of his musical rhythms; and not of his personal lifestyle.... if this whole shenanigan is to make way for a candidate basically Kwam 1, then Yoruba Royalty is gradually diminishing in to the gutter You spoke well if only you had similar comment on the issues around royal matters when the immediate former Awujale died. Hope you condemned the military/police take over of the ceremonies to prevent the "necessary things" to be done to his carcass. I could care less about Kwam 1. But when they threw away traditions during the burial rites of the former Awujale, people didn't remember culture, tradition etc and insist tradition be followed and enforced. Now someone they don't want is being prepped, they are talking about traditions being followed. |
