E/J cheeky 1:5 risk/reward. That's how you stay ahead, by giving yourself some leeway lol. You've got to be able to stand some breakeven trades though. Something's got to give if you know what I mean

How is your GU short going cos this is what I meant by it is not time to sell yet; and if at all there is gonna be any then maybe Friday or Monday.
For now, it has turned to a buy signal on the H4 TF, I wish you could close your sell position and buy with SL some pips away from the recent low.

NOTE: The buy if plays out will not be too long cos this buy analysis is done from your TF - H4, may last for about 3-5days or may either range instead. SELL is a major position being from D1 but not yet confirmed until later.

He is probably in and out already with some pips.
Good thing about FX is, you can have a buy while I have a sell, and we both still make money out of it. Isn't that wonderful

OK. My broker do me sege about 2 months ago on one account like that during a day like this, went to my SL before tp with overshoot and slipped like 10 pips. I won't allow them today.

Well it's better to play is safe then before they start spiking the price up and down

MINISTER OF QUESTION I DON COME AGAIN. among all the systems or trading strategies, e.g engulfing, breakout, s&d and so on and so forth. do they fail? what i mean by fail is like for e.g you did all ur analysis accurately according to the strategy or system and it fail 10 times in a row.

...if I may answer your question, I will say there is no strategy that is 100% perfect, they do fail atimes; but not to fail 10 times in a row. What is most important though is your ability to cut your lossing trades early and let your winning trades thrive. Your Risk vs Reward ratio is the most important aspect of trading.

how i over came mine was to set a few laws, like for example i don't trade on Monday, i trade only four currency pairs, i trade once per day....

those are just few examples of what i do, i notice the more i follows these rules the more my will power increase to help over come this emotions, and the more my account grow

the secondly is to code a robot, but from experience, i seems that this "greed" is transferable because one will keep changing the codes to find a perfect robot which never exist...so even getting a robot doesn't solve the problem, it just reduces it, if one is fortunate enough.

That's okay, thanks. I was planning for a long hold, as I took the hindsight from weekly, and weekly should give a lot of pips Would have re-entered and set to breakeven if I was on the pc.

early this year i lost around 65k on forex trading because of emotion. i wanted to double the money in other to use it get a laptop and go for the training which was around 30k, and also a start up capital. though i double it but doubling it is not enough i keep on firing it till fire burn out the account entirely, my greatest ememy in forex is greed and i don't know how to overcome it. any help on this? i will appreciate it thanks in advance.

Good call. For all I know, it might continue to go up, I'm at breakeven already so no worries at all. I try as much not to predict, I just follow the track I see. They might pin it higher take me out at breakeven before the fall. If that happens and there is a track, I'll enter again and set to breakeven

That's why I call it prodding, some will stick, it's inevitable.
