When DJ Twins were fighting Rhuthee, they didn't intervene then either. When the fight has escalated to raised voices, they actually don't step in. They only step in before the thing erupts. So, if someone is planning to confront another person, they discourage them from doing that, they also warn them about narratives after the squabble, but they never actually intervene in the heat of it, so, I don't think their peacemaking is for middle of fight.

It's in the buildup that they quench the fire.

Ozee should have stopped onyeka and Victoria from ever confronting eachother if he wanted lolz
