Mary Frances Parrish is expecting to be without electricity for several weeks, or roughly the same time the terminally ill son she’s caring for is expected to live.

In the days after Hurricane Michael smashed through her neighborhood, leaving many of her neighbors’ homes destroyed, she and her son Derrell, 47, were planning to stay, with or without running water and electricity. The reason is the same she waited out the storm in the tiny house: She doesn’t have a running car and she doesn’t know where she would go.

Youth wing of the apex Igbo socio-social association, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has approached the South-East governors not to permit their political intrigue supersede the aggregate enthusiasm of Ndigbo, particularly as the 2019 general decision approaches.

President-General of Ohanaeze Youth Wing, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzo made this known at the end of the week while talking with columnists in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi state.

He approached all Igbo pioneers, including the governors to work agreeably for the aggregate triumph of the Presidential applicant of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate in the prospective general race, including that such activity will secure the general enthusiasm of Ndigbo in Nigeria.
