Has a few limitations though, chief of which is not being able to reset the phone as this would take it back to locked status.
But then again, you can unlock it if process is still working or resort to chip if the process has stopped working.

Well, my intended suggestion is this,
If you don't mind a used redmi device, try and raise extra 20-25k
Buy the redmi note 9s (4/64) from meister,
Sell you 8a and replace the money (just incase borrowed or taken from funds meant for other things)
