victor101:Hello Victor, You know what? Most people in Nigeria will always doubt no matter what you tell them. Don't blame them because of the mess we got ourselves into. The Mess of scam,419 and mistrust. Have earned from odesk now upwork (elance is joining them this september). Am a part-time freelancer. Thanks for sharing this info to us. FYI dear Nairalanders-- u can make so much from your home. Regards. |
Nicepoker:Take it easy bro, thats the truth. Aks employed about 60 doctors, over 500 nurses (after about 10 years of no employment), more than 2,000 civil servants yet no payment. Some have worked for more than 10 months. Also, about 5,000 teachers got employed(about 5 months ago) their own case is different since they yet to commence work. Kudos for the employment but a labourer deserves to be paid. Cheers. |
Nicepoker:Proud abi, when your State is owing new staff over 10 months salary. |

Cram, cram, cram. That is an important learning technique. Ever heard of Mnemonics? That is still part of cramming and believe me, some info must be crammed or memorized. There is no need faulting cramming dear poster, it's done every where by students and lecturers alike. Notwithstanding, what is important is remembering and applying what you learnt in school. Memory is complex (ask a neuroscientist) and different techniques are used to consolidate it. I have nothing against/for cramming, but what is vital is your ability to produce that info when needed. The major difference between education in developed, developing and under-develop countries is the availability of research institutes and modern practical aid/guide. "You only remember few of what you read, much of what you see and almost all of what you see and touch". Developed countries have devise better ways of assessing memory by using applied questions and other examination tools. Thats what we lack in our educational system. However, some lecturers are gradually shifting from the archaic methods. |
