We’re now looking for a UI/UX Designer with strong graphic design skills to lead the visual and interactive design of our web portal and mobile apps (iOS & Android).*

Role Overview
As our UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing interfaces that enhance user experience across web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with our product, development, and marketing teams to translate ideas and user needs into elegant digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Design the user interface and experience for the 234Deals.com marketplace portal and mobile applications (iOS & Android).

Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
Collaborate with the product team and software engineers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.

Conduct user research , usability testing, and gather feedback to refine design solutions.

Create brand-consistent visuals, icons, banners, and promotional graphics for marketing use.
Ensure the design system is consistent, scalable, and aligned with 234Deals’ brand identity.
Stay updated with the latest design trends, UI patterns, and usability principles.

Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design (marketplace or e-commerce experience preferred).
Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile app designs (UI/UX samples required).
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch , or equivalent design tools.
Hands-on experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva for graphic design tasks.

Understanding of responsive design, design-thinking, design systems, and accessibility best practices.

Experience collaborating with developers to ensure accurate design implementation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of customer-centric design principles and UX research methodologies.

Nice to Have
Experience designing for marketplaces or e-commerce platforms .
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Blazor).

Motion design or animation experience.
Understanding of Nigeria / Africa and emerging market user behaviors.
