Day 25: so yesterday I noticed the watermelon started withering due to the fact that I've not watered them for about 4days due to tight schedule, so I bought hose to make watering easier, but this morning they're reviving thank God. Here are some of the pics I promised let me know if they're growing well.

Fresh animal poop will burn your plant.
It can be either prepared as manure tea or composted into dry pelleted stuff before use.

thank you ma.

I got my black soap from a local traditionalists store "elewe omo" (A local herb seller/doctor).

On neem extract, how I prepared mine has already been explained in this thread. You could also get the neem oil from online e-commerce stores. It's readily available and more effective that the neem leaves.

Thank you sir...
so u will just mix the two 2geda or wah?

Lol...I'm human after all.
On the tomato plant dilemma at first, I have been able to find a way around my initial problem caused by the rains. Like someone suggested, I did the following;

1. Raised the beds high enough
2. Mulched the tomato plants (used my dried up dongoyaro leaves to achieve this).
3. Prune/pinched off all the lower leaves close to the ground to avoid little splashing of water even after mulching.
4. I sprayed with baking soda/vegetable and a little local black soap to prevent those stubborn whiteflies and prevent fungi diseases.

The last rain had little or no effects on my tomato plants. Not even a signle leave curling up. They all look healthy and good. And the fruits sure do look good and getting bigger by the day.
please how did u make the black soap and neem/vegetable extract

Do checkout any of those online e-commerce stores, heard they've got Neem oil available.
thank you sir

Please Note:

My approach is carried out solely for organic garden farming (kitchen size household farm). Commercial farming may require more extensive approach.

To address the issue;

You can use neem oil instead of the leaves. Very much available (at least I got some at Alaba market) and yields better results.

Nevertheless, you will still have to do lots of hand picking, especially for the snails.
CRUSHED EGG SHELL FOR SNAILS DOES NOT WORK.

thank you sir...
how much is the neem oil sold

Thank you sir.
i used cement bags buh what i observed was that the soil remain moist for about two days after watering once. Also, when the seedlings sprouted, they have very light stem which seems as if they ve consumed too much water.
do i NEED to make holes under the cement bags?

Thanks
