Pressure is building in Venezuela. Unlike China, the USA cannot fully supply Venezuela with the goods it needs. America lacks the production capacity and the supply networks required to support the entire country. The key issue is thay even with American sanctions in place, Venezuela under Maduro was still able to trade with China. They exchanged oil for products, medicines, and other essential goods on a barter basis. After relations with China broke down, inflation exploded. It reached 649.5 percent by March 2026. The International Monetary Fund expects it to go above 682 percent by the end of the year. Right now Venezuelas oil money is being sent to a special account controlled by the US Treasury. Remember that the United States has also essentially seized Venezuelas gold reserves. These moves are speeding up the collapse of the national currency. The situation is spiraling out of control. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Monday that Israel “cannot live without an enemy” and its government was now trying to portray Turkey as one. Tensions between Turkey and Israel have steadily escalated since the Gaza war erupted following Hamas’s October 7, 2023, cross‑border attack in Israel. The dispute entered a new phase over the weekend after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned US counterpart Donald Trump of “possible provocations and sabotage” that could jeopardise an initial ceasefire arrangement in the US-Israeli war on Iran. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed on Saturday that Israel would continue to confront Tehran and its regional allies. “After Iran, Israel cannot live without an enemy,” Fidan said in a televised interview with the state‑run Anadolu news agency. “We see that not only Netanyahu’s administration but also some figures in the opposition — though not all — are seeking to declare Turkey the new enemy,” he said. “This is a new development in Israel… turning into a state strategy,” he added. |

The U.S. is pulling retired KC-135 tankers out of the Boneyard to keep the fleet alive. Operation Epic Fury has hit the aerial refueling fleet hard. One Stratotanker crashed in Iraq, another was badly damaged in a refueling mishap that killed 6 Americans, and several more were damaged in an Iranian drone strike on a Saudi air base. The Air Force is now stripping a retired aircraft for parts, while flight tracking shows another was quietly ferried from storage in Arizona to a maintenance base in Oklahoma earlier this month. On April 13, the United States will begin a naval blockade of all vessels entering or leaving Iranian ports, according to CENTCOM. The US blockade will affect vessels from all countries entering or leaving Iranian ports in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman. ▪️The United States will not impede vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports.
