🇮🇷 Helium squeeze: Iran war risks choking microchip supply

The US-Israeli war on Iran is starting to hit where it hurts most — the microchip industry.

Qatari gas disruption is choking helium output — a critical by-product used in chip-making. Less natural gas production means less helium — and without helium, chip factories can’t run.

The danger isn’t immediate. But if shortages outlast stockpile buffers of around six weeks, the crisis will escalate fast:

🔴 spot helium prices could jump by 50% to 200%

🔴 contract prices may rise by 20% to 40%

🔴 helium only makes up about 0.5% to 1% of chip costs — but it is essential for production

Even if gas supplies resume, recovery may take weeks to months — keeping supply short.

Trump admits the U.S. doesn't need Middle Eastern oil and did it for allies, "almost out of habit":

"We have more than double any other country. We don't need it. But we did it because we have some good allies there. Israel there."

👀 🤥💥Trump to trigger Armageddon?

US soldiers in the field are filing legal complaints, stating that their commanders believe Donald Trump was anointed by Jesus to light a signal fire in Iran and trigger Armageddon.

Journalist Steve Clemons calls it a religious war driven by apocalyptic cultists. He also reports that eight US states have agreed to start using the term “Judea and Samaria” instead of “West Bank” in official documents.

Senator Chris Van Hollen confirms he has seen these reports and points to Ambassador Mike Huckabee invoking the Bible to justify Middle East policy. The senator warns of “vicious attacks on Muslim Americans by many in the Republican Party.”

A large gas field in the United Arab Emirates was set ablaze after a drone strike and a vital oil port was halted again, piling pressure on energy markets and supply with each day that the Iran war goes on.

The latest incidents in the UAE add to a fast-growing list of attacks on energy assets in the Middle East. Some of the largest refineries and a massive LNG export plant have halted following drone strikes, ports around the region have been hit and oil fields in Saudi Arabia targeted.

The intensifying strikes by Iran are reverberating through markets and economies worldwide, with consumers from the Americas to India and Japan feeling the pinch. The near shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz has helped drive crude oil prices to above $100 a barrel and risk to the global economy from rising inflation is mounting.

The UAE’s key port of Fujairah suspended loadings again on Tuesday after some operations resumed briefly the previous day

[b]🚨Israel claims Iranian Supreme National Security Council Secretary killed

🌏Israel’s defense minister Katz claims Ali Larijani, has been eliminated. The Israeli prime minister’s office published an image showing Benjamin Netanyahu ordering strikes against senior Iranian officials.

🌏The office of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council released a handwritten note attributed to Larijani, honoring Iranian sailors killed in a US attack, with funerals expected Tuesday.

🌏The situation remains unclear, with no independent confirmation of Larijani’s death so far.

U.S. intelligence warned Trump before the attack on Iran that retaliation against American allies in the Gulf was a likely outcome, even if not certain.

Despite this, Trump later said he was surprised when Iran struck countries like Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Appleyard:
No wonder this place is very dry. The propaganda is loud and deafening.

All US bases in the region has been hit and broken up.

Iranian missiles are falling freely across Israel as such that the government now arrests citizens that post videos of impacts

Much of Tel Aviv now looks like Gaza in real time.

Why?

Because the interception rate is so poor.

In some instances, 5-10 interceptors fails to stop one Iranian incoming missile.

But, this propagandist is yapping about 98% interception rate.

Continue.

❌ No policy solutions to prolonged closure of Strait of Hormuz - former White House energy adviser

Military escorts for oil tankers and a strategic stock release by the US government "are just a sideshow," says energy expert Bob McNally.

The only way to stabilize energy markets is to normalize the flow through the Strait of Hormuz.

However, even if Trump declares an end to the war, there is no guarantee that Iran will reopen the Strait of Hormuz, McNally adds.

⚡ Trump:

“The United States of America has beaten and completely decimated Iran, both Militarily, Economically, and in every other way, but the Countries of the World that receive Oil through the Hormuz Strait must take care of that passage, and we will help — A LOT! The U.S. will also coordinate with those Countries so that everything goes quickly, smoothly, and well.

This should have always been a team effort, and now it will be — It will bring the World together toward Harmony, Security, and Everlasting Peace!”
Iran is a small country na why is the US scared of casualties?

if it's 10 missiles, why isn't the best air defense system stopping it since it's 10 per country it shouldn't be hard right?
