I have decided to post this thread here because so many students or candidates out there are looking for opportunity to get registered for any available O'Level Examination, that might be available out there. WAEC and NECO registrations are over but you can still register for NABTEB until 10th of April, 2015.

Well, it is important to note that NABTEB is for Business and Technical students ONLY. In other words, NABTEB is meant for students who want to study courses, like: Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Banking and Finance, and other business related courses or Engineering Courses, Computer Science, and other technical related courses. Hello, I'm supposed to have a video job interview with UB (United Buscuits) and it's been very difficult connecting to the internet. Please, is anyone here experiencing the same problem?

Do you realise that NABTEB Certificates (whether the NBC, NTC, ANBC, and ANTC) are mostly preferred by a lot of higher institutions (whether Colleges of Education, Polytechnics, or Universities) for admission into courses that are either Business (such as: Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, etc) or Technical (Engineering courses, Computer Science/ Engineering, etc)- Related? Infact, most Technical universities (like the universities of technology) would prefer to give a NABTEB Certificate holder admission before considering a WAEC or NECO Certificate holder!

Do you also realise that with NABTEB A'Level Certificate you could gain a direct-entry admission (200 Level) into any university (in as much as the course applied for is either Business or Technical Related)?

And do you realise that with the same A'Level Certificate, you have a placement of Level 5 in the Civil Service Commission? Some institutions even place NABTEB A' Level as equivalent to IJMBE or OND (in admission requirements).

Truth is, I always advise students who want to study either Business or Technical (especially Technical) Related to enroll for NABTEB Programmes. NABTEB emphasizes practical aspects of learning than the theoretical aspects. You need to visit Technical schools and see what young folks do with mechanical, electrical, etc works; you would definitely impressed!

IJMBE (A'Level and O'Level Programmes)

IJMBE programme is moderated by Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. It is designed to ameliorate problems of admission for candidates seeking admission into Nigeria universities and other international Universities instead of JAMB.

IJMBE conducts both A’Level and O’level examinations annually. Candidates are expected to sit for three (3) A’level subjects (and either or both O’level Mathematics and English Language, depending on which of the O’level subjects the candidate has deficiency). For a candidate, who does not have any deficiency in either Mathematics or English Language, he or she sits for only the three A’level.

The examination is conducted between February and March every year in designated Polytechnics, colleges of Education, Universities, while the results is released in June. Prior this time, students purchase a direct entry form from JAMB office and apply to any school of their choice. When admission begins in September and October, they are then short listed for admission into their chosen institution. The number of subjects a student can enter for is (3) in respect to their chosen profession.

Mean While, candidates with deficiency in O’level English Language and Mathematics can also remedy these subjects by registering for the O’level examination.
