Greeting Dr, i have seen people who secured lecturing job even when they switch discipline, but its often easier when you maintain your first degree to third one (PhD) instead of having to go through the rigor of earning another M.Sc and PhD in Engineering, apply for a direct entry to bag a B.Sc in Mathematics since you already have a second and third degree in the field, still be patient you will be employed by the best dream job (Federal Uni).
To those seeking higher degree in another field, i usually discourage them not to, am a lecturer In a Federal Uni. regards
