Leadership isn't until you are elected into any key political position or pastoral/Imam position. Leadership entails you spearheading even a small group of people/friends.

When you aren't married, people will never take you serious and can never entrust you with anything serious. Reason why our constitution made it clear that before anyone could handle any key political position, you will ensure you married. So leadership is a sign of responsibility, and to he responsible, you must be stay married.

Yes you are right. He is just being honest to who he got married to. Someone who he met already disvirgined on their wedding night. I was led here by another comment from the OP. After reading the entire thing, I feel sad. I wrote things in the past that I regret now, but I have a feeling this young girl won't learn. The topic and her entire argument is just too sad and people who can advise won't bother to comment. I'm still debating whether to hit the 'submit' button or clean the entire thing. Again, this won't move her. Very sad!
