Please can anyone here help me understand properly what this playoff stage is all about? Because I believe we are going to find ourselves in this situation later.

Bannedlargejr: Let’s stop excusing nonsense or do you see the likes of Messi, Ronaldo, iniesta, xavi joking around unnecessarily on social media in their prime? You didn’t score assists or performed exceptionally and you’re still cracking jokes on social network? Like I always say, when you don’t set any standards for yourself, don’t blame others that set their own standard I think he his just trying to grow his page on social media in a comic way. that been said, at the end of the day we won and he contributed to that victory. |

7demons: Can Nigeria still qualify for World Cup 2026?
Yes, Nigeria can still reach the finals to be staged across the United States, Canada and Mexico. All is not lost just yet, although there is a fast-closing window of opportunity.
The Super Eagles lie fifth in the six-team Group C on three points. On the face of it, that's a dismal state of affairs, but they are only four points behind second-place South Africa. In turn, Bafana Bafana are only behind leaders Rwanda on goal difference.
Nigeria have six games remaining to turn the ship around, with teams playing one another home and away during the group phase.
The winners of CAF's nine groups qualify automatically for the World Cup, with the four best runners-up entering the playoff route. you mean if we finish second in the group, we qualify for play offs? |

kennysville: That's not true. We played good football. What is lacking is ruthlessness. Each player knowing why he is on the pitch. Don't forget that this is a new coach using a competitive match to instill his ideology or philosophy if you like. Take for instance Moffi is playing like a true 2nd choice striker. His body language says it all. Tanimu I don't have issues with him but will need time to blend in. To fail to plan is to plan to fail this is one out of the many issues we have in the team style of play. Even at the just concluded afcon we played shittty football |

Nigeria going behind at half time is not even the issue right now, the main concern is that we can't even play good football, we are not even a threat. |
