I won't have access to her laptop till next week. I ran the diagnostic test on my own laptop. It said "memory test pass". Is the RAM still good for me to keep? Or should I still run the same test on her own laptop?

Her laptop does not boot into windows with her
defective RAM inside. Immediately her system is turned on, d first "page" that shows up keeps blinking so she can't press enter 4 d system to boot into windows. If she presses enter, d system does not respond.
Should I carry out the test on her laptop with the defective RAM or on my laptop? If it passed, is the RAM still good? And if it failed, what does it mean? What if the system does not respond while am pressing F10? Is there anyway I can check if the RAM is still good on my system?

Hi nairalanders, I use an Hp 630 and my friend uses a compaq presario 57. Her system has been acting funny dese days. She gave somone to check it for her. D person said its her system's RAM. He tried my system RAM on her system and her system worked fine. My system has been working fine with her system RAM. D person said a RAM can't spoil, that it can only get tired of a system. Is that true? Should I keep uusing the RAM? Hope it won't affect my system later or the RAM itself go bad later? Pls advice me.
