What I like about this is that, because it is Buhari, you JUST KNOW the programme will come to fruition. ![]() When Buhari commits to a project, he sees it through to the end. He doesn't do abandonment of projects. Or the one that they will commit so so so and so billions to a project, and then later they will share the money, and you won't hear anything again about the project. That is not Buhari's style. |
GentleD201:If hunger and starvation is ravaging you, GO TO THE VILLAGE AND FARM. The government - both state and federal, are supporting farmers in various ways nowadays, and many farmers are smiling to the bank. So if you are hungry and starving, GO AND FARM. THE LAND IS FERTILE. We all come from a village somewhere where you can go and demand a piece of land to cultivate. Buhari banned rice and other food imports so that when YOU go and cultivate them, you will harvest and sell them easily, and make profits, rather than competing with foreign products from Thailand and China. So take advantage of those policies established to make life better for YOU. |

Sirika said adequate preparations had been made and that N78.96 billion had been budgeted in the 2021 Appropriation Bill to implement the plan for a new national carrier, among other projects. The establishment of the national carrier, he said, would be carried out in partnership with the private sector. He said: “In 2021, the sum of N78.960 billion is being proposed for capital expenditure at the headquarters in the aviation ministry and the emphasis will focus on the implementation of the Aviation Roadmap as directed by Mr. President. “The roadmap would be implemented through Public Private Partnership (PPP), topmost of which will be the establishment of a national carrier”. Other projects to be executed, according to him, are the establishment of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRC) facility, Agro-Allied Cargo Infrastructure, Aviation Leasing Company, Search and Rescue Unit and Aerospace University with the support of International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO)...'' https://thenationonlineng.net/national-carrier-airport-concession-new-terminals-beckon/ |

GayPontiff:Aahh.....He's been trounced, and now he's no recourse but insults. Have a lovely day! |
GayPontiff:Mr Government Blamer, in this same Nigeria, a man started as a spare parts dealer in the market, and through self-belief and belief in Nigeria, built the largest black owned vehicle manufacturing company on the face of the earth, employing over 6,000 Nigerians. HIs name, Innocent Chukwuma. His company, INNOSON Vehicle Manufacturing PLC. See, he could have easily been washing toilets in Italy today. He could have cooked up all these ''evils of Nigeria'' in his head, like you did in yours, and escaped into foreign anonymity. But he had the right mindset. A can-do mindset. That is why he is where he is today. There is a girl that graduated from the University of Lagos, and couldn't find a job commensurate with her qualifications. Her friends in the same boat made different choices from her. Some fled abroad to retrain as nurses, while some became 'runs girls' in Lagos, offering sex for money. This girl went on YouTube, and learnt from free videos how to bake exotic cakes. Within two months she built a business and a client list that saw her INUNDATED with orders. Today she has around 10 girls she trained working for her and doing the baking work, while all she does is sit in her bedroom posting images of her cakes on Instagram and facebook, and processing orders. In a good month she makes over 1 million naira, which is roughly 5,000 dollars. It is all about MINDSET. With YOUR negative, ''blame everybody out there'' mindset, you could never succeed in Nigeria. As for the Indians, the real reason a Nigerian tech graduate will struggle to find decent work there is the same reason a Ghanaian tech graduate will struggle to find work in Nigeria. Nigeria is overflowing with tech graduates and competition is fierce. And a Nigerian firm will favour one of those young Nigerians over a Ghanaian newcomer. Likewise an Indian firm will favour Indian graduates over Nigerians. Indians will come to Nigeria and set up a tech company. But Nigerian tech firms will not do the same and set up in India, not because they are not allowed to, but because the competition there is fierce, with multiple Indian companies vying for the same contracts, and long established networks holding sway over new entrants. So the Nigerian tech firm will instead move to a smaller country than Nigeria, say Ghana. Or Sierra Leone. Just like the Indian tech firm moves to a smaller country like Nigeria to do business, where competition is less fierce. So, at the end of the day, it's really about business reality, not so much about race and how Indians hate Africans etc. They just don't NEED us in certain capacities which we present ourselves. If they did, sheer economic expediency would wipe away that 'racism' in an instant. So deal with reality. |
