The office of the president is not contested, but it is decided and given by the king makers of the country. So, if the king makers want to give it to any tribe or region they wiil come together and do the job.It is not thumb printing on ballot paper on election day that produces the president. No matter how one struggles and agitates for president if the king makers don't want you,it cannot work. We all saw what happened in the 2023 presidential election together with court processes.

Talking of giving PDP presidential ticket to a southerner for 2027 is another indirect way of making PDP lose the election. Governor Makinde of Oyo state came from the same zone with President Tinubu the southwest, there is no where he can beat Tinubu in presidential election.PDP ticket should go to north,this is the only way the party can wrestle power from APc come 2027.Wike has started making underground plan to make PDP fail in 2027.PDP as a party should resist such move
