On point! trillville: To add to royalcatier's comment, the youths need to realise that the politicians see no difference between themselves, whether they are Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, igbira, ijaw, they are all for one Nigeria. They hardly have religious issues too.
They use tribalism, religion, and illiteracy, as tools to divide and conquer the youth because they shift the blame of our suffering from themselves and point to the northerners, when in all honesty, the average northerner is even more depraved of any presence of government.
We need to unite and stop all this tribalism and religious intolerance. Our churches and mosques are also the tools of the elite.
The only division line in Nigeria is between the rich and the poor.
The sooner the youths realise this, the better. |

Slave or not, you and your people will give your souls and everything to be Yoruba! See how you are running mad over Yoruba matter and losing sleep! No dog will ever be a witness to a starving lion, so you ibos need to shush it! OneNaira6: Lmfaooooo. This is actually expected. Wasn't it the same thing they did to Obasanjo after yaradua won. Funny thing, since the beginning of Nigeria history, that same scenario have played over so many times it is now comical. The north use the yoloba to get what they want and then drop them when time comes. Mko, Awo, obj, and now tinubu. Lmao. History always repeat itself.
Just name where on history have you heard of masters allowing their slaves to be their equal, just which history book said so? |

This is too big for your brain to process, you really need to go back to kindergarten to learn your numbers first, Ode! How many states are there in Nigeria, 35? olodo! Mogidi: Buhari has 16 states as against the fraudulent one's 4 states. No competition, Buhari would soon feed him to his cows after cutting him down to size. |

Only the youth can set themselves free. They can't keep allowing the politicians use them while shielding their own children. The youths need to start comparing themselves to the positive aspects of western culture and not the ghetto lifestyles that are being imported. They need to learn to say NO to the politicians. All the youth should be asking from Buhari is Eletricity, with that in place, jobs will be springing up and unemployment will be greatly reduced. Gr8amechi: in your opinion, how best can this awakening start, what can be done or is it irreparable |

Nigerian youths have to first of all yearn for greatness and stop being instruments in the hands of politicians for as low as N2,000.
How many young men in their 20's would look in the eyes of politicians and say 'you can't buy my vote'? There goes your answer! Blame poverty all you want, but you know our youths have sold their souls and only miracle can make them stand for what is right! |

You are just too dumb to realize that no one can be convicted without having their day in court! Got to be charged first and then tried before we know if they are guilty or not! You are afraid of charges cos you know they will be found guilty! I don't know how many handles you have here and I don't care! You have now found your voice, the one Yoruba gave you! Thanks to Obasanjo! This is what happens when a slave is made king! Never again!!! . dearpreye: On a serious note, you guys are amongst the reasons Nigeria will not move forward. ...
You want me to believe all the criminals from your place we're duly prosecuted and found wanting, while ours were guilty? Isn't it? You see your life? Have your ever seen me making tribal comments? You think I don't know what I'm saying, and what the mofos up North are planning?
All we ask is equity. Fairness. Justice. Is that too much to ask?
And please spare me that YOUR TRIBE IS TOO PRIMITIVE TALK! The arrogant and educated illiterates from your all knowing tribe just made an inciting and senile statement about a group of people yesterday! Your primitive and myopic local Oba weeks ago equally threatened the same people with a lagoon treatment. Isn't that e extent of your education? Isn't that it? Your so-called education has hardly bettered your lot; we're all still holed up in a Third World.
Ijaws are not asslickers; we don't serve the mofos up North. They seem to be your masters, not ours. |

The only way Buhari can get to the bottom of what happened to the $$$Trillion missing from NNPC is to appoint someone from either SW or North as the oil minister, appointee from other region will cover up the rot.
Another thing Buhari needs to do for his own peace of mind is to never attempt to please these noise makers, because they can never be pleased even if the new president gives them the last cloth on his back. The hate in these people can boil water, and the more you give them the more they want everything like STRAY CATS until you have nothing left to give and start looking stupid while they are still looking to ask for a piece of your bare skin. |

They were tried and found not guilty! Would you even allow yours to answer to charges, let alone be tried? Your emotional sedation isn't fooling anyone but yourself. Would you have written this if Yoruba had claimed that they are the aborigines of iboland? even when there is an evidence to suggest that in the case of Ugbo/Olukunmi people tucked away deep in the heart of iboland? ICEMAN: It is impressive and inspiring to read posts such as these. As Nigeria gets older as a nation as a people ethnic divisions should become a thing of the past. A typical example is that I am an Igbo whose first cousins are Yoruba, Hausa, Calabar and Bonny in Rivers State. We have been brought up to love and assist one another. There are no ethnic divisions between us and we enjoy each other's hometown's and cultures. That also includes the VIP treatment when you go to their hometowns. My closest friend in life is Yoruba and he is my mother's adopted son and as good as my biological brother. We should not limit ourselves. A house divided itself cannot stand. We are Nigeria and may GOD Bless us all! |

Ghanaian today and Chinese tomorrow, you ibos will always hide behind anyone and then turn around and say you are far from being cowards. MannyAgyeiK: Then, why did the Yorubas of that era call them 'Igbos'? Fine, I'm Ghanaian, but dismissing a theory cuz it's unfavorable to your tribe is a bit parochial and myopic. You could easily have shredded this with actual facts, instead of sneering at it with no objective basis. Your fellow Yoruba simply put forward a counterclaim about 'Ugbos' that was a fact, without ad hominem attacks. By the way, I read somewhere that Olukumi, along with Itsekiri, were initial settlements of Yorubas before they reached Ile-Ife, which explains the Yoruba link. |
