many years ago ,back in boarding school,I was coming from somewhere around afternoon and I suddenly had the need to ease myself,you know how it is I branched to nearby bush , removed my trouser half-way to my knees and squatted down, easing off my load,a few seconds later,I looked down and a black snake passing right between my legs,coming from behind of course,so I didn't see it coming ..it just went riy through and continue going its way as if I'm not there,me,I was so surprised ,just watching it going away, wondering about the so many things i have heard about snake and just shaking my head.the snake big o! when I told my mom this,she was incredulous!same with my class mates..they were like Dem don baff you jazz .,..later in life,I got to understand the meaning of gun don't kill people but people DO!most of these creatures are harmless on their own so long you don't bother or threaten then , even,lion!most animal have almost the same survival instinct like human!they want to live too and be cared for , coz that what God intended,not rushing to kill everything animal in sight just because you CAN ..I have never kill a snake since that day and even feed ant!I particularly enjoy feeding ants and birds ..just throw a few crumb of biscuits or bread on the ground and watch them come out of their holes !they are s complete complete community and far better organized than the idiots filled contraption called Nigeria (sorry for the language pls ).
