U can seperate d runts frm d rest if u av anoda pen. Hope the pen is spaceous to avoid overcrowdin. If the percentage of the runts ot that of d well-developed wans is high, dats a sign of overcrowdin or malnutritn

@sam, u are ryt. Dat applies nt only to poultry bh all livestock. D rule of thumb z dat, do nt raise birds of diff ages in d same pen n prevent oda birds frm coming near ur pen. Dia is a required space 4 each bird @ each stage of dia lifecycle

Yes, there are sum antibiotics dat delay layin of eggs such as tylosin. Bh da shdnt affect d birds 4 d antibiotics ws administered wen de were young. Dia r sum antibiotics dat r nt advisable during layin, such as enrofloxacin. Vaccinatn procedure followed varies frm farm to farm n i can nt prescribe cos dia z ntin as gud procedure, d only way u can av a gud vp is to knw ur environment and check ur farm records. Dats d best way to manipulate d vaccinatn schedule. D level of severity of ND myt b lentogenic in my area wia urs cld b velogenic. So u may av to repeat sum vaccines 2 to 3 tyms cos of disease severity... I guess u undastand ma grammar

Hi, i collected ma birds(black harco) on d 1st of july, n dey started laying @ 17 wks of age. Presently dey are @ dia 21wk. With 153birds, i still av 151+ a cockerel till today and av bn collecting 2 and d half crates of egg per day 4 abh a wk nw(deep litter). D prob myt nt b d breed, it myt b d season. U nid to learn more abh ur biz. We are in a shorter day longer nyt period. And egg productn in birds starts wt lighting. I will advise u to increase d hrs of day length to abh 15 to 16hrs per day. Also a bird shd consume .11kg per day @22wks. Administer water ad-libitum, even @ nyt so d eggs cld start gettin big asap. Dia z still more to learn abh ds biz, bro. Best of luck

Cocci is persistent truout d brooding stage to early rearing stage. D cycle neva stops and d chicks continue to pick d egg frm dia excreta. D birds gain immunity against cocci nt until de r abh 10 or 11wks old. So, its advisable to keep administerin anti-cocci truout ds period. Diff anti-cocci cld b used @ interval 4 d causative agent not to b resistible.
