The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has directed the management of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin to reduce tuition fees payable for the 2017/2018 academic session.
The new approved tuition fees are lower than the 2016/2017 fees.
Governor Ahmed’s approval is in line with the recommendations of the Committee set up to conduct an investigation into the tuition fees of the polytechnic. The committee, which is comprised of members of the House of Assembly and officials of relevant ministries, submitted its report on Wednesday, according to statement by Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Dr. Muyideen Akorede.

It was unfortunate that Facebook freebasics that was officially launched 2 years ago is now being capped by Airtel to 20MB only daily, which was unlimited before.
This service was initially free without any data limit or data cap.
An official text message has been sent to all Airtel users regarding this new update.

WhatsApp Status, which was launched by February last year—as another Facebook-owned Snapchat Stories copycat—will be getting a boost anytime soon, as the company is testing cross-posting Instagram Stories to WhatsApp.
Instagram Stories is a feature that lets users post photos and videos that dissapears after 24 hours, boasting of over 300 million daily active users. In a bid to revive the dead Facebook Stories, the social media giant earlier allowed Instagram Stories to be cross posted onto Facebook . And doing the same to WhatsApp.
