My deduction from this is that subsidy will still remain cos dangote will sell at 1000naira per litre to NNPC while NNPC sells to Nigeria at 568 naira per liter.. in the long run it wont be sustainable and thereby resulting in NNPC owing Dangote and creating another set of crisis ....

If Oshimen was white, he wouldn't have been treated this way being priced down and under valued — loaning a top striker like Osimhen with option to buy and re-negotiate a reduced wage is not fair enough deal for him. What if they Chelsea decide not to sign him after the loan? The implication for that is, his market value will greatly diminish.

Tinubu ruling lagos was more of a tax collection job.
What he did from 1999 was to widen the tax net, and these helped in increasing lagos igr by more than 200% and the LAG was having enough money to run. He shape up LISR and automate revenue collection but this come at a cost because the agency responsible for rendering that services was privately owned by tinubu and the company or firm get some percentage on total revenue remitted to lagos state accounts. It was a violation of BPE because tinubu was making money and at the same time remain the governor at that time.

He actually never set up industry or build a production industry or build on human capital developments. He just use his accountant sense to run lagos by taxing everyone working in private companies. To me the real builders of modern lagos are fashola and Ambode.

The real builder of Lagos is Late Lateef Jakande.

Many people think things cost globally is the issue, but in other countries, government cut their expenses, money is on ground to get what u want if u are working. Work is available if u are ready to work, but reverse is d case of Nigeria. Things are cost, no money to get those things, people are ready to work, but where is the work.
