A just graduated Student of Banking And Finance, Auchi Polytechnic known as Lawrentta was shot dead at her graduation party last night (03-11-2017).
She wrote her last and final examination on Thursday 02-11-2017.

Once u get admission, u keep paying to wet greedy appetite, from 45k acceptance fee to the actual school fees of 120k. they will blackmail u into paying heavily. You will keep paying at whims of greedy regime with an appetite to corruptly amass wealth. They will wake up one day and ask you to pay as little as 2k, thereafter as much as 60k, as if they are experimenting the limit of our mumu and idiocy they then tell you that ur programme have dragged into another session that u must pay another school fees of about 120k. At the point of certificate collection, they would bring up another problem that can only be assuaged by money. No collection of Certificate without 45k minus other expenses. My dear, Nigerian Universities are Lunatic asylum, mad house.

A day before yesterday we heard the news that our Master Thesis won't be submitted for approval if we don't pay the obnoxious 60k. Many of my friends called me to ask for a helping hand. Meanwhile I had only 77k in my account meant for my drugs. I have no option than to part with it. I paid the sum into the designated notorious Unity Bank account inside school. After payment, I felt I had just paid some forms of Ransome to Evans. Honestly Uniben is blackmailing it's PG student. It very unfair. 1 NYSC i.e the name of the programme
2. The name of the state, e.g I served in Ondo state, so mine reads OD
3. Ur school abbreviations like BUK, ABU, OAU etc
4. The year of service, i.e the year u were admitted to camp, mine was 2013
5. Lastly ur personal number.

My worry is, how come does Dino's certificate reads 99 while he served between 2000/2001?

How come he was admitted to camp on a Sunday and discharged on another Sunday

Good news from NBTE and Ministry of Education. To Punch Newspaper it is our prayer that your pen will never run dry.
A good attempt at sanitising our Education Institutions. However, it is important to note that this investigation should be extended to all the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education in this country.
The National University Commission, Ministry of Education, ICPC should make available an easy way to report the men of shaded characters and the women of easy virtues in our schools and device appropriate punishment for violating rules.
A comprehensive investigation of the various higher institutions in Nigeria will probably reveal the Auchi Polytechnic is probably a joke when compared to some Universities in this country.
It is now over to NUC and Ministry of Education hoping they will act swiftly? I can't just help thinking about how the leadership of NBTE accomplish this task without being compromised. Perhaps they should conduct a comprehensive investigation of all Polytechnics in the country, device a better monitoring and reporting mechanisms to prevent reoccurrence and if NUC fail to emulate this good step, they should be helped by NBTE and Ministry of Education to investigate our Universities.
