My dear, it's not how far but but how well, and what you achieve, However the course you're studying now is it a 4 year programme (400L) or a five year programme (500L).

For a 400L course, my dear i'm afraid starting afresh is the best option,
For a 500L course, I want to believe you can make it happen BUT with a lot of sacrifices, zeal, dedication and self discipline(for the remaining 4 semesters, at least ''B'' on all courses to be taken ) at the end you could end up with some encouraging grades.

My Best Advise is to take the BOLD step of a new beginning and I believe you will achieve an outstanding goal/grades since you have realize your weakness.
