Thats 18 years total as opposed to the north with 2 years Yar’adua and 8 years Buhari making 10 years.

If the presidency goes to the north for two terms it will bring north and south to 18 years each and balances out.

The north gave Tinibu his victory, and he has turned his back on them.

Finally, Nigeria as a country is most unlucky, and that may be what is bedeviling most African countries too. Ideally, we have been ruled roughly less than 8 years with only 2 educated presidents arguably since independence, and that is late Yaradua and Jonathan.

But it is definitely worse to elect someone with no foresight or willpower to rule effectively whether educated or not, worse of all to elect two different old incompetent illiterates back to back into power to lead Nigeria for over 10 years now and running. May God help us.

The opposition for Tinubu shall begin in the Southwest. Batists like to give the impression that Tinubu has the South on lockdown but he doesn't even have the entire Southwest on lockdown. Recent events in Lagos and Osun has proved that. Obi will contest again in 2027 rendering his "It's the turn of the south" agenda dead on arrival.

Tinubu got 5.6m votes from the North in 2023 and it will be a miracle if he gets a third of that number in 2027. Atiku may likely decamp to the SDP under the umbrella of the coalition and Seyi Makinde or Bala Mohammed will pick up the PDP ticket. If Makinde succeeds, it's double jeopardy for Tinubu. Barring rigging, how does Tinubu intend to win in 2027? Right now, Tinubu will do anything to prevent another Yoruba man from getting a presidential ticket under any party hence his latest flattering of Osinbajo and palpable fear when the "fake" news of Akinwunmi Adesina contesting circulated.
