[quote author=fuke]Not just Facebook. This Forum also. I am not surprised though as an employer. And that is why they are not employable. The other day, I asked one with 2:1 degree to write why she wanted me to take her on. One hour after she was still there. She could not take off, let alone write anything tangible. I had to have another look at the degree certificate to be sure I saw correctly. It was a 2:1 to be sure. We are in trouble, real wahala. Was that fellow a male or female? Did he/she graduate from a federal, state or private university? |
Elementary government questions. |
A philosopher is a lover of wisdom. It's an interesting course that cuts across many disciplines. There is a branch of philosophy called 'EPISTEMOLOGY', this will broaden your horizon and prepare you as a critical thinker. You'll also learn METAPHYSICS, LOGIC, ETHICS AND FALLACIES. According to Socrates ''man know thyself''. |
Where do u place the likes of Prof. Dora Akunyili and Dr. Oby Ezekwesili? |
I encourage all interested and qualified persons to jettison the fear of the unknown and apply. It's 100% real! However, I've a strong conviction that those using this platform to discourage people from applying have all applied long ago. It's a ploy to limit your chances. Be wise! |
Follawalk: Pls, I need the website address for the NIS recurritment site.. Thanks and one love.www.recruitment.cdfipb.gov.ng. Better still, google it. |

I applied for NIMC job, did the test but wasn't invited for interview. I now work with Assets Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON), better place and the take home pay believe you me is juicy and mouth-watering. |
alasuomowei: Abeg during the interview, I put the Originals of my credentials on the table, whileanswering the questions.. Others did'nt, do u tink i fuckd up?Relax, why worry? You and I know that the questions they were asking did not need spontaneous answers but expressive. |
For those who want to know the take home pay of civil servants in the employ of federal government, check this out. New Federal workers’ pay: Minimum — N17,000/month : Maximum — N453,000/ month – Daily Trust By Bunmi Awolusi / July 12, 2010. Beginning from this month, the least paid Federal Government worker would be receiving a monthly salary of N17,073 while his highest paid counterpart is to get N453,444, according to details of the new pay package released in Abuja by the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission. In a circular dated July 1, a copy of which was exclusively obtained by Daily Trust in Abuja at the weekend, the commission said the new salary structure, already approved by President Goodluck Jonathan, was coming with a condition that workers would improve their productivity and conduct. A table of the reviewed Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure (CONPSS) attached to the circular shows that the least paid worker on Grade Level 01/1 would receive a salary of N204,878 per annum, while an officer on Grade Level 17/9, which is the highest grade in the public service, would take home N5,441,336 per annum. The table shows that N208,206 is now the annual salary for a worker on grade level 02/1; N211,048 for level 03/1; N221,072 for level 04/1; N250,499 for level 05/1; N305,429 for level 06/1; N507,165 for level 07/1; N769,856 for level 08/1; N853,384 for level 09/1; N903,711 for level 10/1; N1,042,408 for level 12/1; N1,163,433 for level 13/1; N1,285,018 for level 14/1; N1,767,816 for level 15/1; N2,188,877 for level 16/1; and N4,172,860 for level 17/1. |
alasuomowei: draw which Mumu attention, is Nairaland paying Me 4 using My BIS to waste on commenting, stop being agresive and insultive... Idiots. You obviously don't have the spirit of a comrade, calling Nairalanders idiots to me is the highest point of insolence. Is this how you would address an enrolee if eventually employed? I advise you take a course on Public and Human Relations. |
alasuomowei: 4 those of u that i gave the benefit doubt, there would be another Test again, 4 those that pass the Interview.. That was what the DG said, I vex die. Were u expecting a smooth ride? You should have known that the interview you attended was the first stage, you still have two or three stages of intense interviews/tests to go through. |
The DG is one of the interviewers, he said, '' the weeding process has started''. The man no dey smile ooo! |
alasuomowei: I have done My Interview, but i hated what I was told at the end by the DGWhat were you told? Is hightime you broke the silence broda. |
The panel of interviewers comprises six people, the questions they asked bothered mainly on national and international current affairs. In addition, prospective interviewees should be knowledgeable about NIMC. They were asking intelligent questions that might throw one off balance if not composed. Don't panic and anxiety should be shown the way out. Above all, you must dress well preferably suit for guys. Wishing u guys the best. Above all, trust in God be yourself and attack the questions as the come with equanimity. |
Prettychiz4real: Congrats to those who got a sms from NIMC. Hmmm..... Frankly, I don't trust these network providers especially MTN to deliver the sms to the recipients considering what MTN did to me. MTN withheld a sms my friend sent to me since 26th March, 2013. I knew about this when my friend called me on 21st April, 2013, and complained that I've refused to reply her message. I told her I didn't receive any sms from her. We later met and she showed me the sent sms in her phone. MTN delivered the message and charged her for it, without delivering it to me . I was dazed. That means job interview sms could also be withheld. I have this nagging feeling that Mtn and co will withold most of the success sms from NIMC. I wished NIMC chose other ways to alert successful candidates! You might be right, but I want to allay your fears that most people who received the 'success sms' use MTN and there is no how the service provider could have delayed the delivery of contractual bulk sms of a reputable consulting firm like HCP. Be that as it may, be optimistic and keep your fingers crossed. You might be in the next batch of hopeful candidates to receive the 'success sms'. May God bless your heart. |
Still expecting the 'success text message', but if I don't receive it before the interview date, I'll bulldoze my way or perhaps gate crash. However, I wrote the test @ FUT,MINNA on 25th, Feb. 2013 and applied for the position of registration and enrolment officer (LG). |
linsa01: what post did you apply for? You may need to be patient as IMO, ppl who got d text r those dat applied 4 reg./enrollment officer. I tink its in batches. Just prayerfully wait 4 ur turn. U dnt need to gate crash if u didn't apply 4 d above post.Registration and enrolment officer |
eastermaris: Peeps, lets share ideas here on what to expect from the scheduled NIMC interview.I assume that the interview will be practical. |

segunmoyin: I did my own @ minna and they have not call for me, it seem they are calling state by state .I also wrote the test @ FUT,MINNA but yet to receive the text message. I'll gate-crash into the venue on the day of the interview. |
lindiwey: Berger or Sky memorial bus stopFor those coming to Abuja for the first time in respect of NIMC interview, Berger bus-stop is much more accessible than Sky Memorial. May God bless your heart Lindiwey. |
The headquarters of NIMC is located in Sokode crescent, off Michael Okpala way by PDP National Secretariat (WADATA HOUSE) very close to The Federal Inland Revenue Service(FIRS) Head office, Wuse zone 5, Abuja. The popular and nearest bus stop to the place is Berger round-about/bus stop. Wishing u guys the best. |
Pls, is there anybody in the house who wrote the NIMC test at FUT,MINNA that received the text? Pls reply asap. |
silasemuh: Wrote mine at futa. Akure. Got invited 4 d interview in Abuja. No date yet. Enrolment and reg officerWhen did you receive the text? Pls reply. |
Still keeping my fingers crossed, I'm highly optimistic that I'll get the text. God must intervene in my case. |
Lets continue to keep our fingers crossed and remain optimistic. It's crystal clear that the management of NIMC is keeping everybody involved in suspense, there must be light at the end of a tunnel. |
Anxiously waiting to be invited for the interview, no matter how long it takes. |
