"I'd like to share a quick story. I had a friend same school, we even served together at same state and organization. He had a top politician family friend but knew nothing about government agencies. I introduced him to this thread on Nairaland where we could get information about the agencies. I helped him create a Nairaland account, and we both got all the information he needed. He contacted his uncle, excluding me, and got his APL in a few months. He casually called me one day and told me he got the APL; I congratulated him with no feelings of entitlement.

"Few months ago, I got information related to his agency and called him to ask for help. He said yes, but I had to give him 4M+ before he starts. I asked if the money was for his connect, and he said no, it was his fee for referral work. All pleas and negotiations were abortive, and that was the end.

"Moreover, as weird as life is, strangers tend to help more than friends so I wasn’t surprised and I so also found out he deactivated.

So, this afternoon, I was wondering, what's the purpose of this thread?

70% of us here are using alternate accounts, so it's easy to disappear once they get what they want. Everybody seems nice and humble until they get that APL, and then they vanish.

All of you shouting REA REA once APL is out, that's the end.

"I've seen many people, 5 years in a row, still hustling for APL, even for the least parastatal sadly .

"Not related, but go to the US Visa thread; you'll see people who have lived decades in the United States still helping people come over with crucial informations and sometimes financial assistance. Why? Because they were beneficiaries of the thread.

"It's all different here; most people come to this thread to gather information about organizations so they can give to their connects.

Some are here argue about which agencies are A-list or Z-list or which pays better. Some are here so they can brag about their connections.

"What about those left behind ? Those with no political connections ? I'm not saying you should give anyone a job; you're under no obligation. But if you can, please don’t hesitate or at least show a little form of appreciation. Maybe help with recruitment information pertaining to your agencies; if you have slots, present them with negotiable terms. You could get a chance to send CVs; all don't have to be your family; you could add one stranger's CV too. There are a lot of things you could do here.

"Some might say, how can I help a stranger? Common, so in your entire life, no stranger has ever helped you? Most of your connections don't even know you that well.

Life doesn't have to be so difficult, and nobody has to suffer because you too suffered to get that thing. You could make a difference.

"Kudos to special individuals here who still drop crucial information. To those who, despite getting APL, still come back to assist others gracias.

Kudos to one particular guy (I can't remember his name) who asked people to send their CVs to him so he could help them print and submit to the agencies in Abuja for free.

Congratulations to those invited. Previous scores where very low. Some persons scored 12/100 while some scored 6/100 etc which was very poor while others did excellently well. The highest score was one Mukhtar. Your score in CBT will determine the next stage which is interview. Merits without connection will be considered too.

I just received REA invitation for CBT test. They wrote invitation for 2nd stage CBT tests. The interview is totally fake

How are they going to handle the recruitment because people wey come write exam dat day plenty. They reach about 500 plus. Na Abuja dey wan put everybody wey dey wan employ abi dey get branch across the state.. I'm talking about REA.

They know what they are doing they intentionally shortlisted people that went ahead to submit CV just to fulfill righteousness so they won't be complaining that Dy don't attend to them...they have their own candidates already it's obvious from the venue of the test some are casual staff of REA working at MD office they are many there present so they know what Dy are doing
