Alright...I actually work and live in Lagos but I won’t mind flying to Abuja for the appointment. How about those that stay in places like port harcourt do they get to select their preferred embassy for visa appointment

sure appointment in Abuja is likely to be sooner that in lagos.
The only person I noticed in this thread that was given abuja used abuja as her contact address. I believe thats the reason......

Thanks bro. The organization disburses directly to the school’s account, I really want to be clear on how to handle this. I was thinking there would be at least somebody here that has funded his/her German studies with a student loan.

I received my official admission letter today but really want this to be addressed before I book a visa appointment.

Sorry, this question keeps escaping me..

I noticed the others have been attended to except the Uk funding..

The German embassy recognize three means of Funding...

1) Blocked Account
2) Sponsorship letter from a working German resident permit holder
3) Deutschlandstipendium or Scholarship..

So to answer your question in a giffy, Since you intend using a Uk company, the embassy will ask you to inform the company to transfer the required amount into your blocked account as a proof of funding. Since the course is an executive masters.

But I think there are exceptions. This can only happen if your intending school interferes with the process and assures the embassy of the fund (Which is very rare in most cases because all these schools don´t want to interfere with the embassy bureaucracy)

Since the company has a joint partnership with your prospective school, I think something could still happen but in most cases, the company will be asked to fund your blocked account for studies purposes.

I received the pdf files of the admission letter today. Are you also attending the HHL Leipzig? How about if I want to schedule my visa appointment in Abuja embassy? Does it sound like it’s going to be faster than Lagos embassy?

U cant use email notification, write to d school asking for softcopy of admission letter. Let them know you need it for visa appointment date and that August dates are almost exhausted.Thats wat i did in my case. Tanx to @dailydollar
