What he said is that the prize of 80m has to be earned. The winner will go home with the prize money but it may not be up to 80m. Currently, the prize money is 10m and it will start to increase every week until the finale.

It's a way of deciding what to pay based on who is in the run to win...shiķena...if they feel u r not deserving...na so so penalize ...if them like u...any little thing go earn addition ..also it spurs entertainment ...so if all of una dey look like lucozade ...prize money no go dey ...lol ...

You'd still have same entertainment value by using points between winner and second runner up.
The long term implication of this would be less intensity in the main HOH game. People would do just enough to be in the top 4 and ramp it up in the challenger where there's less competition.
Afterall, in the challenger, you only have 4 people to contend with as against 29.....
The main HOH beat 28 other people to win it, makes no sense to gift It to a challenger who just had to beat 4.
Another option is to make all the challengers face off and have only the winner face the HOH.
Even in boxing, you can't challenge the champion by being in the top 5. You have to be the number one challenger....

But the challengers also beat the others na ...top 5 out of 29 is ideal to challenge ...so see it as the final hoh game ... this means u aren't hoh till after the challenger....

The HOH challenger makes no sense. For one, there is no incentive to win HOH when you'd still contend for the challenger. Why not save all your energy for the challenger?
Best alternative is to make only the first runner up a worthy challenger and to award points per contest so that the challenger only usurps the HOH winner if he has more combined points in both contests....

But making it open like that for the top 4 or 5, makes no sense at all....

It's nice...makes the game more uncertain and interesting....just between yesternight and this morning , Thelma don dey over do..now she lost it ..humility comes calling...then those that have felt offended by her short reign can then gloat....all would be fun to watch...

See as she pick person lover yesterday ..unfortunately they picker and the picked have to stay with the bitter ex...
