So why are Warnings, Strikes and Disqualifications integral part of the show?
Of course, Pere has every right to express his discontentment and reject Alex's provocation and goading using any acceptable means.
However, physical aggression under whatever guise is not allowed on this show, period.

U get me wrong...i am not sating his reaction was right ...I am saying it isn't enough grounds to conclude he has anger management issues...that environment isn't thesame all things being equal....

It is very easy to attribute Pere’s aggression last night to deliberate unrelenting provocation from Alex
and those with this line of thought will be justified based on the incontrovertible evidence.

However, I personally feel Pere has “anger management issue” particularly with women requiring urgent and corrective therapy. For a man coming from a failed marriage, this type of uncontrollable aggression openly displayed on international Tv first with Doyin leading to that indelible hole on the wall and physically throwing Alex off the mattress yesterday is very scary to say the least.

If Pere can behave like this in a controlled environment under 24hrs camera probing, one wonders what he’s actually capable of in private.

We can always hide under the cloak of partisanship by rejecting the obvious because Pere is our fave, but in truth Pere needs help.

This is in no way intended to justify Alex’s scornful, provocative and bitter attitude which we all know stems from Pere’s rejection.

The environment they are is a make believe one....its totally different from the outside world...so reactions in there do not necessarily equate same outside....so this line of argument that Pere has anger management issues is a hasty one. We watched him on SYE ...we have seen Alex areesively punch another...use extremely insulting words...same as doyin.


So if their actions resulted in an out of character reaction from him.

What Alex said the first day she slept in the pink room to Deks and Venita was "Pere snores and he has bad energy, that the reason I'm changing room", remember earlier in the week it was the same bad energy comment that made both of them go at each other......

For this particular fight Pere carries most of the blame he shouldn't have reacted like that owing to the fact that the bed is where Alex sleeps......

All that's happening, big brother and the decision panel are to be blamed.
If alex had gotten a strike for hitting ike, she won't have been this aggressive towards a man even wanting to slap pere again this night.

She thinks she is big brother's pet and the slap and punches she gave to Ike was highlight and fans are supporting her and that is why Big brother didn't give her a strike.

I like the fact that big brother called pere to the diary room because it's useless allowing pere to fight who they have decided to send home.
