PoliticsRe: Godswill Akpabio Given Two Choices: "Impeach Tinubu Or Be Removed As Senate Pres by SixSeven: 12:26pm
manmade:
Yes, you are totally right. President Tinubu can fight insecurity. It is one thing to expose and arrest the sponsors of insecurity, and another thing entirely to get rid of the ragtag armed bandits being used as foot soldiers.
President Tinubu has started going after the sponsors one by one, although it requires wisdom in dealing with them. They are not just ordinary people; they include highly placed members of society such as former and serving legislators, retired military officers, wealthy individuals, religious leaders, and emirs.
While the foot soldiers are being decimated daily, the pressure is mounting on them, and they are now facing a shortage of trained fighters because many of their commanders have either been arrested or killed. That is why they are increasingly kidnapping soft targets to bargain for or exchange with their members in custody.
This kind of kinetic approach requires time to achieve lasting results, hence the need to give President Tinubu the opportunity of a second term in office to deal with the problem once and for all.
Thank you for your response. Now, I want to address three areas. I am someone who has followed various analysis for a long time so some of what you have written are not new to me but I like that you at least gave a response.

1. Sponsors are being arrested

This is mostly false. High-level political and traditional sponsors are rarely named or prosecuted openly. The last time we heard about this was when UAE gave us the list of sponsors and Lai said he will announce it. Till now, no one knows anything. We all just keep speculating today and tomorrow because the government has refused to name them. There was a time they said it was one of the Southern senators sponsoring them, another time, because of his claims, people said Sheikh Gumi. Another time, Oshiomole said it's the army generals and ex soldiers. Recently, one guy has been going on air saying it's Ndume. We are just speculating and it is not helping. People even say it's Fulani and this is causing ethnic profiling for innocent people who have no business. Then another time they give impression it is Igbos like we saw in the VDM. So whatever you are saying, it has not helped at all. We don't know the real sponsors of terrorism.

To be fair and factual, the FG released a sanctions list containing 48 individuals and 12 entities identified as alleged terrorism financiers, many of whom we don't know!

2. Kidnapping for prisoner exchange

This is partially true. Recent high-profile cases show bandits demanding swaps, but ransom money is still their primary driver.
The Oyo case is a recent example. The Katsina State Governor who went to forgive them and did this later regretted getting into a deal with them. Putting them in the army has really demoralized our soldiers because we don't know who is on our side. The man who killed a police officer and wore his uniform to a reconciliation has dared the government with what he did. How do you think our security forces are motivated when there is obvious compromise and government is not using a hard stick on them?

In June 2026 ambush in Zamfara State, bandits lured dozens of local villagers under the guise of peace talks, only to kidnap them and demand a 125 million naira cash ransom. Security analysts confirm that kidnapping functions predominantly as a robust financing means to fund weapon purchases, rather than an act of desperation for prisoner swaps which you claim.

3. Kinetic approach needs a second term
This is merely a political opinion. Relying solely on military force without economic reform has historically failed to deliver lasting security in Nigeria. Insecurity is not what is new to APC, they campaigned using it as one of the things they will solve over 10 years ago. The President is known for saying that the buck stops at the President's table and if the person there cannot solve it, he should resign so how is he in need of a second term? I could use this same logic to give Jonathan a second term because he used mercenaries to flush the terrorists out after he postponed the 2015 elections.

This is my opinion, I will ask you my questions below 👇

Politics"Looks Like You're Insecure About Peter Obi" — Aisha Yusuf Fires Back At Dickson by FuglyGurl(op): 12:21pm
Dear Senator Henry Seriake Dickson @iamHSDickson
While I take my time to properly address your allusion of me not playing by the rules which I consider very disingenuous seeing how I followed the process and even when you had insisted there would be no primaries for senate I let things go and asked my teeming supporters to focus on the bigger picture, I toured the FCT pacifying my supporters and party people who rightfully felt disrespected as they were all waiting at their respective headquarters for primaries that never happened.  (I played field politics, I never waited for anyone to give me ticket), I would like you as the National leader to watch this video again!

This part of the interview was so painfully appalling to watch. It looked as if you were insecure and in competition with your Presidential Candidate. Your first one on one interview after primaries and instead of selling your candidates and giving confidence to people on how set the road to winning the 2027 election was, you made it about yourself.

With all due respect sir, it looks as if you consider the NDC a Special Purpose Vehicle whose aim has been achieved just by being registered instead of a Political Party whose aim is to win the 2027 General election decisively!!!! The registration of NDC should be a means to an end and not an end in itself.

As a leader of a Political party, your number one job in that interview was to pacify aspirants many of whom are rightfully aggrieved and secondly to call on supporters to bear with the party and support it but you ended up antagonising the very people you would need to win election. Every vote counts! A leader must stoop to conquer!

No one can take away your leadership of NDC, no one is interested in that! The focus is on Nigeria is winning the 2027 election!
It looked as if you are fighting a war no one is waging with you. You don't have anything to prove to anyone, just lead! It is also interesting how as a leader i see you shifting the blame with any process that doesn't go well or is called out. Even in this statement below, you did! Take all responsibility! The party is young. It was overwhelmed. Mistakes will be made. Accepting the mistakes and being accountable is how the party will get better.

There is a whole battle ahead of us. Rescuing Nigeria from the current state it is in, should be the main focus not people's fragile ego!

Let me round up with some words from Jim Rohn: IF WHAT YOU did YESTERDAY IS STILL LOOKING BIG TO YOU TODAY, THEN YOU ARE NOT DOING ENOUGH!!!

Romance"I Have Right To My Privacy"— Man Sends Back Girlfriend For Visiting Unannounced by EmmyMaestro(op): 12:18pm
"I have right to my privacy" — Man sends back girlfriend for visiting unannounced

A man has sent back his girlfriend after she arrived at his home unannounced, insisting that she should always seek permission before visiting.

The incident, which has gone viral on social media, shows the man standing at his doorway while exchanging words with the woman, who is off camera at the time of recording. The disagreement quickly escalated over her unexpected visit.

Dispute over unplanned visit
In the video, the man appeared visibly irritated as he asked the woman to return home. He reminded her that he had previously warned her not to show up without calling ahead.

“You go back, I’ve told you, you don’t come to my house uninvited. Go back. When you get home, call me and ask if I am at home and if you can come. The fact that we are dating does not mean you can just come to my house. I have the right to my privacy,” he said.

Accusations and suspicion
The woman, reacting from behind the camera’s view, questioned why she could not freely visit her boyfriend without prior notice.

She expressed frustration and accused him of possibly hiding another woman in the house.

In response, the man allowed her inside to check the house herself. She reportedly inspected different parts of the apartment but did not find anyone.

Final disagreement and departure
After the search, the woman insisted on staying, but the man refused and maintained that she must leave. He repeated his earlier position that she should always call before visiting.

The disagreement ended with the woman leaving the house after being asked to contact him properly before any future visit.

I have marked the key zones with black fingers.

*After confirming the touch of the purple finger,
in the red finger long position strategy,
after touching the 62K mark at the purple finger zone #1 at the top,
it closed in a sideways market after a correction of about $1,100.
It has reached near the target price of the Top zone.

It did not drop to the red finger mark of $60,054.5 at the bottom, and a rebound is underway while coupling with the Nasdaq.
Since there was no touch of the entry point,

the strategy has been canceled.

I am operating safely this month, but I will review the overall situation today as well.

A circular has been passed by the Edo State Government to shut down schools in Edo North Senatorial District of the state, over terrorist attacks, as advised by the DSS.

This should be a shame to Monday Okpebholo, the Edo State governor. This is the same man that said that he did not mind if everyone in the state is kidnapped. With such utterances, we can see how governance work in Nigeria. It is politics before security. Politics before a better economy. Politics before better education. Politics before youth empowerment.

Nigerians are not ready. For the fact that people still collect as little as Semovita to support a politician, the status quo continues.

AutosRe: Ebay & Amazon Personal Shopper & Shipper From The USA And UK - Nigeria Secret by Cargome(op): 11:51am
Cargome:
As an eBay and Amazon personal shopper and shipper from the USA and UK to Nigeria, the work we do behind closed doors to ensure successful order placement, shipping, and final delivery to our customers is far more complicated, taxing, and time-consuming than most people imagine. It requires deep concentration, patience, industry knowledge, and years of hands-on experience.

In late 2025, a client placed an order for an item worth about $3,000 from eBay through our service. The client simply shared the product link with us, trusting us to handle everything end-to-end. The item was shipped from China via UPS and, based on our calculations, it was expected to be available for delivery in Nigeria by 16th November 2025. However, this did not happen.

By 28th November 2025, the item showed as delivered to our U.S. facility, yet it was not processed for onward shipping. We immediately contacted the eBay seller to confirm whether the item had truly been shipped and delivered. The seller cooperated fully and provided proof of delivery, including the name of the representative who received the item.

With this information, we returned to our U.S. shipping partner, only to discover the real issue: the item carried a UN3091 label, and the shipper had deliberately refused to ship it due to the restrictions associated with that label.

Now, consider this situation carefully—this was a $3,000 item paid for by a customer who had never physically met any member of our team. The level of trust placed in Cargome Xpress Services speaks volumes about our integrity, competence, and proven track record.

To resolve the issue, we went back to the seller and explained that the item could not be shipped with the UN3091 label. We requested that a return label be created so the item could be picked up and sent to a new address where the label could be properly handled and removed, after which it would be forwarded to a compliant shipping partner. This process was successfully completed.

Throughout this entire journey—the delays, investigations, back-and-forth communications, and final resolution—we kept the customer fully informed. As agreed, the item is now on its way to Nigeria.

This is why our personal shopper service does not stop at checkout. We stay with your order until it is safely delivered. It is also why we maintain a strict policy of not unboxing customer packages, as this helps us properly trace issues and protect our clients when problems arise.

When we assure our clients that the value we deliver far outweighs what we charge, it is not a sales slogan—it is a reality. If your time is valuable, let us manage it for you. Let us handle your eBay and Amazon shopping and ship your items to Nigeria with reliable, nationwide delivery to all 36 states.

Many people have lost thousands of dollars attempting to shop and ship on their own, believing it is “simple” or thinking, “I can do it myself.” This is our job. This is our field. We have years of experience navigating challenges others never anticipate.

Regardless of what we charge, Cargome Xpress Services remains your number-one trusted partner—available 24/7 and committed to your peace of mind.

To avoid Amazon and eBay shopping and shipping stories, reach out to us today.

That's Obi's business whether he steps up or down. What I'm saying is that not Nigerian should be stewpid enough to vote a Fulani. Tinubu doesn't need Obi stepping down anyway. he can 'win' the way he did in 2023 and complete south (Yoruba) presidency the way you all shouted in 2014 that it was the turn of the north. In any case no one cares cool
The people that shouted it was the turn of the North were Northern PDP members whom Jonathan had signed an agreement with. Same way Tinubu's Emi Lokan statement was directed at Northern APC members. Ojukwu contested the 2007 elections under APGA after 8 years of Obasanjo's presidency. did any Northerner ask him to step down that it was the turn of the North? did any Northerner create a username with "Fulaniphobia" as a result of that? They didn't do so because the North didn't have any pact with him. What pact does the Southeast have with the North for you all to be demanding that all Northerners step down from the race? If you are truly serious about "Southern turn", ask Obi to step aside and wholeheartedly back Tinubu to continue so you can stand a chance of being a V.P to the North in 2031 if he wins. Otherwise, you lose that slot to the Southsouth while screaming Igbophobia.

chrisooblog:
Good workout yesterday for the SE.

No shame losing to one of the best teams in the world and WC favorites.

I personally think the game was a great way to gauge the team's current level. For Africa in the short term we're good but for long term competitiveness and success at global level there's load of work to be done.

For immediate and long term success emphasis should be placed on scouting and grooming highly technical and creative type midfielders. Whether in the diaspora or local level we should prioritize looking for midfielders who will give are midfield that creative spark missing at the moment. Energy is covered we need more flair and ball retention skill set.

More LB options required as cover and competition for Bruno.

These are my humble thoughts, now player ratings from yesterday's match.

Okoye - 6: Good solid performance. Made a few nice saves. Couldn't do much in preventing the goals he conceded. Needs to be more vocal and commanding in control his box area so his defenders will try harder in preventing shots on goal.

Akpan - 5: Decent debut. Struggled in phases of the game but wasn't atrocious. Not easy facing that high level of competition on your first international bow but he will improve.

Bruno - 6: Very solid performance. Often snuffed out danger. Couldn't contribute as much offensively which is understandable considering the caliber of the opposition.

Ajayi - 5.5: Was caught out a few times but generally solid. Was calm in possession. Gave the ball away a couple of times but was firm when needed.

Bassey - 6.5: One of our better performers on the night. Energetic, robust, and unyielding. Knew when to commit a technical foul especially when we were under pressure. Though his ball distribution became porous especially in the latter stages of the second half.

Ndidi - 6: Best midfield performance for me for the team on the night. Calm in possession and tried as much as possible to progress the play especially during transitions. Tired out as the game wore on.

Nnadi - 5.5: Ran his sucks off and battled bravely against his more established opponents which wasn't an easy feat. Struggled to impose his game reflected in his mixed passes. All told very creditable performance. did well too in the forward press.

Iwobi - 4: Not the best of games for the Centurion. Gave the ball away a couple of times and seemed off the pace. Worked hard in the press but couldn't keep up with the Portuguese midfielders who breezed past him on occasion. His trademark incisive passing in the final third was missing yesterday.

Fisayo - 5: Energetic and full of running. Apart from his assist for the goal didn't much worthy of note from an attacking standpoint. Was effective in the press.

Simon - 5: Showed flashes especially in the first half but didn't really trouble the Portuguese backline that much.

Akor - 7.5: One man battalion. Troubled the Portuguese defense and didn't give them a moments peace throughout the 1st half. His pressing was spot on and was our main attacking threat. Almost single handedly fashioned his goal out of nothing. Impressed with how he badgered Dias off the ball before collecting FDB's pass to calmly slot in. Wasn't as effective in the second half due to lack of adequate supply.

Subs:

Zaidu - 3: Poor performance bordering on diabolical. His energetic and robust play is no longer covering his lack of tactical and technical nous. We definitely need an upgrade in that LB position like yesterday.

Moffi - 4.5: Worked hard in pressing but couldn't do much also due to lack of supply.

Bekene - 5: Came in and settled the RB better. did very well to intercept a few Portuguese counters. Wasn't able to contribute offensively due to pressure from the Portuguese.

Onyedika - 4.5: His inclusion initially looked to have settled the midfield and brought more stability but his lack of bravery and attacking intent turned me off. I expect better for someone of his technical abilities.

Onyeka - 4.5: Worked hard but struggled to match the more technically adept Portuguese midfielders.

Onuachu - 4: Works hard and puts himself about but struggles to fit in with the teams general tactical setup. Not an attack on him as a player but just the brutal truth of what he brings to the team currently.

Chukwueze - 3.5: Deviod of the instant impact of the bench he was expected to bring. Spoilt a very promising counter.

Full makes to Eric Chelle and the technical crew for setting up the team well. Different personnel in different positions and the outcome could have been better.

PropertiesHow To Protect Your Rental Investment With Proper Tenant Screening by connectedproper(op): 11:26am
Owning rental property can be a great way to build long-term wealth, generate steady income, and increase the value of your investment over time. However, the success of any rental property often depends on one critical factor: choosing the right tenants. A reliable tenant can help maintain your property, pay rent on time, and contribute to a positive rental experience. On the other hand, a poor tenant can lead to missed payments, property damage, legal disputes, and costly vacancies.

This is why proper tenant screening is one of the most important steps property owners can take to protect their rental investment. A thorough screening process helps reduce risks and increases the likelihood of finding responsible tenants who will treat the property with respect.

Why Tenant Screening Matters

Many property owners focus heavily on marketing their rental units and setting competitive rental rates. While those factors are important, tenant selection can have a much greater impact on long-term profitability.

The cost of evicting a tenant, repairing damage, or recovering unpaid rent can quickly outweigh the income generated by a rental property. Proper tenant screening acts as a preventive measure, helping property owners identify potential red flags before signing a lease agreement.

A strong screening process provides valuable insight into an applicant’s financial stability, rental history, and overall reliability.

Verify Employment and Income

One of the first steps in tenant screening is verifying employment and income. A tenant may seem qualified on paper, but it is essential to confirm that they have a stable source of income sufficient to cover rent payments.

Many property managers recommend that tenants earn at least two to three times the monthly rent. Requesting recent pay stubs, employment verification letters, or tax documents can help confirm financial stability.

By verifying income, property owners can reduce the risk of late payments and financial hardships that may affect rent collection.

Review Credit History

A credit report provides valuable information about an applicant’s financial habits and payment history. While a perfect credit score is not always necessary, reviewing credit history can help identify patterns of financial responsibility.

Look for indicators such as:

*) Consistent payment history
*) Outstanding debts
*) Collections accounts
*) Bankruptcies
*) High levels of financial risk

Credit reports should be considered as part of the overall screening process rather than the sole deciding factor. A lower score may not automatically disqualify an applicant, but it should prompt additional evaluation.

Check Rental History

Past behavior is often one of the best predictors of future behavior. Reviewing a prospective tenant’s rental history can provide insight into how they have managed previous rental obligations.

Contact former landlords and ask questions such as:

*) did the tenant pay rent on time?
*) Were there any lease violations?
*) did they maintain the property properly?
*) Would you rent to them again?

These conversations can reveal important details that may not appear on an application or credit report.

Conduct Background Checks

Background checks can help property owners identify potential concerns related to criminal activity or other issues that could affect the safety and well-being of the property and surrounding community.

It is important to follow all applicable fair housing laws and local regulations when conducting background screenings. Decisions should be based on objective criteria and applied consistently to all applicants.

A fair and legally compliant process protects both property owners and prospective tenants.

Verify References Carefully

Many applicants provide personal and professional references as part of the application process. Taking the time to contact these references can provide additional context about the applicant’s character and reliability.

Employers, previous landlords, and professional references may offer valuable information regarding responsibility, communication skills, and trustworthiness.

While references should not replace formal screening measures, they can help support your final decision.

Watch for Warning Signs

During the screening process, certain warning signs may indicate potential problems down the road.

Examples include:

*) Incomplete application forms
*) Inconsistent information
*) Frequent moves within a short period
*) Unverifiable employment history
*) Reluctance to provide documentation
*) Negative feedback from previous landlords

Identifying these issues early can help property owners avoid costly mistakes.

Create a Consistent Screening Policy

Consistency is essential when evaluating rental applications. Establishing a written screening policy ensures that every applicant is evaluated using the same standards.

A consistent process helps reduce bias, improves decision-making, and supports compliance with fair housing regulations.

Your policy may include minimum income requirements, credit criteria, rental history standards, and documentation requirements. Applying these standards uniformly creates a fair and professional rental process.

The Value of Professional Property Management

Tenant screening can be time-consuming, especially for property owners managing multiple units or busy schedules. Professional property managers have the tools, experience, and resources needed to conduct comprehensive screenings while remaining compliant with legal requirements.

Connected Property Management helps rental property owners streamline the tenant selection process through thorough screening procedures designed to reduce risk and improve tenant quality. By carefully evaluating applicants, property owners can gain greater confidence in their leasing decisions.

In addition to tenant screening, Connected Property Management provides ongoing management support that helps protect property value and improve operational efficiency.

A rental property is a valuable investment that deserves protection. Proper tenant screening is one of the most effective ways to reduce financial risk, minimize property damage, and create a positive rental experience for both owners and residents.

By verifying income, reviewing credit reports, checking rental history, conducting background screenings, and maintaining a consistent application process, property owners can make informed decisions that support long-term success.

Taking the time to screen tenants carefully today can help prevent costly problems tomorrow and ensure your rental investment continues to perform at its best for years to come.

Please, I need advice on how to resolve an issue regarding my daughter's Transcorp shares.
My daughter owns 1,000 units of Transcorp Plc shares. About two years ago, we stopped receiving dividend payments, so I contacted the Registrar, who informed me that the shares had been sold. However, I did not authorize or execute any sale of these shares.
To verify the status of the shares, I contacted CSCS, and they confirmed that the 1,000 units are still in my daughter's account. When I later decided to sell the shares, I encountered more challenges. African Prudential stated that my daughter does not have any shares, while my stockbroker's records still show that she owns the 1,000 units.
At this point, I am confused because I am receiving conflicting information from different parties. Has anyone experienced a similar issue before? What steps should I take to resolve this matter and establish the true status of the shares?
I would appreciate any guidance or advice. Thank you. :::
Request for a copy of her CSCS statement from the broker or from CSCS to clear the doubt.
* Dont forget that TRANSCORP did 1:4 reconstruction sometimes ago......meaning the quantity might have reduced to 250units (if you're referring to qty b/4 reconstruction)
* Also note that if you're requesting for a copy of her CSCS statement from CSCS, it comes with fee payment.
* Remember, what you have in your portfolio might not be total stocks or quantities you have for any particular stock..... CSCS statement takes priority over your trading portfolio.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Ignored Early Warnings Over Alliance With Seriake Dickson by Igbophobia: 11:25am
AMINDA:
Agreed. Obi should immediately step down and support Tinubu and not try to split Southern votes. He should refrain from going all over the place with branded OK t-shirts, forcing an alliance with a Fulani Kwankwaso all in a bid to get Fulani votes. It's hypocritical and the Fulanis see through him.

And how many did Chile concede against them ?

WarHammer2000:
It's actually the highest test if you ask me. Portugal is a strong contender for the WC trophy. They've got Mendes, Vitinha, Neves, all current Champions League winners. Plus other elite talent in all departments. And they started their best against us.

Any other African country would have conceded more than 2 without scoring any. In fact, only few European countries can survive this current Portugal.

Why Peter Obi is a Hypocrite not a Saint

By Soibi Versatile

Peter Obi’s public image rests on a reputation for frugality, integrity, and moral clarity. To his supporters he represents a break from Nigeria’s corrupt political class. But the record of his actions in government, business, and political alliances shows a pattern of contradictions that undercuts the saintly branding. The gap between his rhetoric and his record is why many critics describe him as a hypocrite.

Obi campaigns as the anti-establishment candidate who will dismantle the old order. Yet he spent years inside that same order. He was a member of the PDP for nearly a decade, served as Anambra State governor on the APGA platform, and returned to PDP as Atiku Abubakar’s running mate in 2019. He only left PDP in 2022 after losing the internal zoning debate ahead of the presidential primaries. Presenting himself as an outsider after two decades in Nigeria’s dominant parties is a reinvention, not a revolution. A genuine break from the system would have meant building a new platform long before it became politically expedient.

His message is anchored on prudence and cutting the cost of governance. As governor, Obi did publicize savings and left money in Anambra’s treasury. But the same administration was accused by opponents and some civil society groups of inflated contracts, selective payments to contractors, and using government funds to buy media loyalty. The claim that he alone reduced waste ignores the fact that every state government publishes savings when it suits them. The difference is marketing. Meanwhile, the Pandora Papers leak showed Obi registered offshore companies and failed to declare them as required by the Code of Conduct Bureau while serving as governor. He argued that the assets were legitimate and that he broke no law. The point is not legality but consistency. A man who builds his campaign on “we will not steal” and “I have nothing to hide” cannot claim moral superiority while operating offshore structures he did not disclose to Nigerians.

Obi preaches production over consumption and often attacks politicians who fly private jets or live lavishly. But his own business history is rooted in importation and trading. Next International, the family company he chaired, was a major importer of consumer goods. For years he profited from the same import-dependent economy he now condemns. Calling for a shift to production is valid policy, but positioning himself as a victim of the system rather than a beneficiary is dishonest. He was not a factory owner in Aba. He was a trader in Lagos who moved goods from abroad into Nigerian markets.

On ethnicity and religion, Obi presents himself as a unifier who is above tribal politics. During the 2023 campaign he visited churches and framed the election as a religious war in leaked audio that he never convincingly disowned. His strongest support came from the Southeast and Christian blocs, and his campaign rhetoric often cast opponents as part of a corrupt Muslim North. After the election he called for unity, but the damage was done. You cannot spend months mobilizing along faith lines and then claim you are a detribalized leader. That is political convenience, not principle.

Obi’s supporters defend his record on education and health in Anambra. He did invest in schools and return mission schools to churches. Yet under his watch, doctors in Anambra were on strike for 13 months over pay and conditions. ASUU strikes also crippled the state university. A governor who could not resolve industrial disputes for over a year cannot claim to be a model of competent governance. The same applies to security. While he touts that Anambra was safe under him, kidnapping and violent crime were real problems, and his security votes were never fully accounted for in a way that satisfied independent auditors.

His stance on corruption is selective. He constantly attacks the APC and PDP for looting, but he has never led a serious probe of his own allies. When members of his campaign council were accused of fraud or had past indictments, he dismissed the claims as political attacks. A true anti-corruption crusader does not shield his tent. He applies the same standard to friend and foe. Obi’s refusal to criticize Obidients who engage in cyberbullying, doxxing, and threats also exposes a double standard. He calls for civility in speeches, yet his movement’s most visible actors practice the opposite without consequences. Leadership is not just what you say. It is what you tolerate.

Finally, Obi’s economic prescriptions are popular but untested. He promises to move Nigeria from consumption to production in four years, cut governance cost drastically, and end poverty. As governor he did not industrialize Anambra. The state remained a trading hub. No major factory was built by his administration. If eight years as governor did not transform one state into a production center, scaling that promise to a country of 220 million people is fantasy. Saints deal in truth. Hypocrites sell illusions.

Obi is not the worst politician in Nigeria. But he is not the saint his branding suggests. He is a skilled trader, a career politician, and a man whose record contains the same compromises he condemns in others. The danger of the Obi myth is that it replaces one cult of personality with another. Nigeria does not need a savior. It needs systems, institutions, and leaders who are consistent when the cameras are off. Until Obi reconciles his message with his history, he will remain a hypocrite who wants to ride to power on the basis of false integrity representation.

CrimeTension In Osun As Police Allegedly Arrest NUJ Secretary, Akindoju by Teecash1409(op): 11:17am
Tension in Osun as Police Allegedly Arrest NUJ Secretary, Akindoju.

The Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Osun State Council, Comrade Olalekan Akindoju, was reportedly arrested by police officers at his residence, sparking concern among media practitioners and civil society stakeholders in the state.

According to reports, armed policemen allegedly stormed Akindoju's apartment this morning, forcibly gained access to the premises, and whisked him away to an undisclosed location.

The circumstances surrounding the operation remain unclear, as family members and colleagues were reportedly left without immediate information regarding his whereabouts following the arrest.

Reacting to inquiries on the development, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Osun State Police Command, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, stated that Comrade Akindoju was not being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The police spokesperson, however, did not disclose the exact location where the NUJ secretary was being detained, assuring that details concerning his whereabouts would be communicated as soon as possible.

The incident has generated reactions within journalistic circles, with concerns being raised over the circumstances of the arrest and the need for transparency from security agencies.

As of the time of filing this report, the police had yet to provide further details on the allegations, if any, against the NUJ official or the reason for the operation that led to his arrest.

More details are expected to emerge as the situation unfolds.

A WILLING SAVIOR

*Isaiah 53:4 (NKJV)*
_“Surely He has borne our grief and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.”_

*Roman 10:13 (NKJV)*
_“For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’”_

God is a good God; this is not just a statement, it is a reality that must settle in your heart. He is a Savior, and not a reluctant one. Anyone who calls upon Him, He will save. There is no discrimination with Him; no background check, no favoritism. He is happy to be your Savior, and even more, He is willing to be your friend. That is the nature of God.

Isaiah 53:4 tells us something deep: He bore our grief’s and carried our sorrows. This was not symbolic; it was real. Every pain, every burden, every weight of humanity was placed upon Him. Yet, people misunderstood it. They thought He was being punished by God, not realizing He was taking our place. He suffered so that you can have peace. That means your peace is not something you struggle to earn; it is something He already paid for.

And here is something many are still coming to understand; what Jesus did was not limited. The sacrifice of Christ was for the whole world. The price He paid covers every man, everywhere. Healing, peace, and restoration were made available through His sacrifice. He carried it all on Himself on the cross. God is not pleased when you are burdened; He is pleased when you walk in the peace that Jesus already secured.

So when you come to Him, come with understanding. You are not trying to convince God to be good; He already is. You are stepping into what He has already made available. He is willing, He is able, and He is glad to save, to heal, and to restore. That is who He is.

*Reflections*
• Do I truly believe that God is willing and happy to save and help me?

• Am I living in the peace that Jesus already paid for, or am I still carrying burdens?

• Do I see God as a distant figure, or as a present Savior and friend?

*Key takeaways*
• God is a willing and non-discriminating Savior to all who call on Him.

• Jesus bore our grief and sorrows so we can live in peace.

• The sacrifice of Christ made provision for the whole world.

*Prayer*
Father, I thank you for being a good and willing savior. Thank you for carrying my grief and giving me peace through Jesus. Help me to walk daily in the reality of what you have already done for me. Teach me to trust in your goodness and to rest in your finished work. Amen.

*Declaration*
I walk in the peace that Christ has paid for. I am free from every burden, and I live in the reality of God’s goodness and saving grace. Amen.

You are the one deviating from the topic How Many Persons Of God Is The ONLY TRUE GOD?
How many divine beings connect to the Allah of Islam? You had earlier said that the word of Allah was stored as a divine book separate from Allah of Islam, and that being/book was the very word out of Allah of Islam's mouth. And that being/book could even take the form of a man. 🥱

As a matter of fact, the Quran also referred to Isa of Islam as the word of Allah, and this is the same Isa of Islam whom we are made to believe did not die but was raised to be with Allah without judgement and would judge, in a similar fashion to the Quran, on the Islamic judgment day. How many are those? 🥱
