Wale Ajetunmobi, the Senior Special Assistant to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and popular blogger and political commentator, Japhet Omojuwa, have condemned a Member of the House of Representatives from Lagos State, Okey-Joe Onuakalusi, over an empowerment scheme that heavily favoured his Igbo kinsmen over Yoruba indigenes in his constituency.

Onuakalusi, who represents Oshodi-Isolo II and was elected on the platform of the Labour Party in 2023, sparked the controversy after publishing a list of beneficiaries of his foreign training programme that showed 24 of the 29 sponsored participants were Igbo, while only five were Yoruba.

The programmes sent 20 participants to China to study courses ranging from cybersecurity and artificial intelligence to food processing, tourism development and malaria elimination.

Another nine were sponsored to South Africa for training in nursing and diabetic care.

The publication of the list was, however, condemned by netizens with critics accusing the lawmaker, a non-native representing a predominantly Yoruba constituency, of using public resources to favour his own ethnic group at the expense of those he was elected to serve.

Reacting to the list, Ajetunmobi described the scheme as beyond mere marginalisation.

“This is utterly abominable. Marginalisation is not an accurate word to describe this; it’s outright ostracism. Haaa… a ti gba àbọ̀dè fun’ra wa,” he wrote.

He also turned his fire on those defending the scheme on the grounds that the beneficiaries are Nigerians, saying, “So, the lopsided empowerment is fair game to you? You sick people are usually loud in criticising Tinubu for appointing Yoruba people to federal positions but conveniently forget that the president has been appointing Nigerians.

“Now, a non-native Reps used resources meant for a Yoruba constituency to substantially empower his own kinsmen. Then, the beneficiaries suddenly became ‘Nigerians’. You silly idiots shift narrative conveniently just to look good before those marginalising your kinsmen in your land. O tin shiere.”

On his part, Omojuwa described the lawmaker’s action as discriminatory and a slap on his constituents.

“This is a self-indicting post and a big slap on your constituency. That you didn’t even have enough self-awareness to post this makes me wonder what other forms of latent and blatant discrimination are going on against the people you were voted to represent,” he wrote.


An X user, Mide.O who tweets as #Midatlblog, also condemned the list, noting that it favoured the Igbos more.

Midatlblog wrote,”Oga, 16 out of 20 are Igbos. you even included your family members, Chukwuka Onukalusi number 20. Omo, why didnt you just contest in the South East since you wanted to empower your lineage.”

Another user, Omo Ajagunna, tweeting as #BasedLagos wrote, “Even the Yoruba names there were generated….Samuel Ajayi-Crowther- Oloyede Taiwo.”

However, following the backlash, Onuakalusi updated the list to accommodate more Yoruba names.

In fact, this morning, I still had a dream about Jesus, I heard Him, calling me His "Loveth", promised to celebrate my oncoming birthday on November 29, 2026, as one of the ways of rewarding me for diligent services for the things of the Kingdom.

Yesterday, I also heard a still small voice of God, in a bid to reward me for being a good and faithful servant of God, He honoured me declaring me as the Deputy of Jesus Christ, as He gave me a new title, called;

"Deputy Controller of Peace"

Jesus Christ is the Chief Controller of Peace - The Prince of Peace.

I am His Deputy as declared by the Holy Spirit.

(4) Look for a bible believing church (around you) and start worshipping God there
(5) Start living a sanctified life

YOU CANNOT BE RIGHT WITH GOD THROUGH GOOD WORKS ALONE (THE POWER OF FAITH)

Scripture: Galatians 3:1-29

One of the most important lessons from today's quiet time is that no one can become righteous in the sight of God by just obeying the law or maintaining good moral standards. Our righteousness comes through faith in Jesus Christ, and it is through this faith that we receive the Holy Spirit and become children of God.

In Galatians 3:2-5, Paul asks an important question: Did the Galatians receive the Holy Spirit by observing the law or by believing what they heard? The answer is they received the Spirit through faith. This teaches us that our relationship with God does not begin with our ability to keep rules but with our willingness to believe in Him and accept what Jesus Christ has done for us. This is also why Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Abraham's Blessing Comes Through Faith
Abraham is a perfect example of how faith makes us right with God. The Bible says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness" (Galatians 3:6; Genesis 15:6).

God did not declare Abraham righteous because he was perfect or because he had fulfilled every requirement of the law. He was considered righteous because he believed God.

Furthermore, God promised Abraham that all nations would be blessed through him (Genesis 12:3). Paul explains that those who have faith are the true children of Abraham and that they share in this blessing (Galatians 3:7, 9, 14, 29).

This means that the blessing of Abraham is not limited to his biological descendants. Through faith in Jesus Christ, people from every nation can become part of God's family and share in the promise He made to Abraham.
Do you desire God's life, direction, and blessings in your marriage, business, finances, career, and every other area of your life? Your relationship with God must begin with faith. Instead of depending only on your efforts, abilities, or achievements, put your trust in Him and allow His Spirit to direct your life.

The Law Reveals Our Sin, but Christ Delivers Us from Its Curse
Another lesson from this passage is understanding the purpose of the law. The law helps us recognize sin and understand God's standard of righteousness. However, it cannot give us the power to overcome sin or make us righteous before God.

Galatians 3:10 explains that those who rely on observing the law are under a curse because no one can perfectly fulfil all its requirements. In other words, the law exposes our inability to attain righteousness through our own efforts. But Jesus Christ has rescued us from the curse of the law!

Galatians 3:13 says, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree." When Jesus was nailed to the cross, He took upon Himself the curse that our sins deserved. He did this so that the blessing promised to Abraham could come to the Gentiles through Christ and so that we could receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:14).

This is the foundation of our salvation. We are not saved because we have managed to become good enough for God. We are saved because Jesus paid the price for our sins.

Good Moral Behaviour Alone Cannot Save You
You may have excellent moral standards. Perhaps you do not smoke, drink alcohol, steal, lie, engage in sexual immorality, or participate in other sinful activities. These are commendable standards, but they cannot independently make you right with God. You can be morally upright in the eyes of society and still lack a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The problem is that good behaviour cannot replace faith in Christ. No matter how disciplined you are, your good works cannot pay for your sins or earn you salvation.

According to Ephesians 2:8-9, we are saved by grace through faith, not by our works, so that no one can boast. This does not mean that good works are not important. Instead, good works should be the fruit of our faith, not the foundation of our salvation. When we genuinely believe in Christ, our lives should begin to reflect that faith through obedience, love, and righteous living (james 2:17).

Galatians 3:23-25 further explains that before faith came, we were held under the law, but now that faith has come, we are no longer under the law as our guardian. Through faith in Christ, we have received a new identity.

You Become a Child of God Through Faith in Christ
Galatians 3:26 says, "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus." Your identity as a child of God is established through your faith in Jesus Christ, not through your background, achievements, social status, or ability to keep religious rules.

When you put your faith in Christ, you receive the Holy Spirit and become part of God's family. You are no longer defined by your past sins or shortcomings. You belong to Christ and become an heir according to God's promise (Galatians 3:27-29).

So, have you genuinely put your faith in Jesus Christ? This question is more important than whether you are a good person or whether you attend church regularly.

Do you want to become a child of God and share in the promise He made to Abraham? Do you want the Holy Spirit to dwell in you and guide your life? Then you must put your faith in Jesus Christ. Say this prayer with the whole of your heart:

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I have come to understand that I cannot be saved by my good works, moral standards, or personal efforts. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I need Your grace and mercy. I confess my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose from the dead. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I accept Him as my personal Lord and Saviour. Lord Jesus, take control of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to walk in obedience to Your Word. Let my life reflect Your righteousness, love, and grace. Thank You for saving me and making me a child of God. Thank You for writing my name in the Book of Life and for the blessing that comes through faith in Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.

“Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” james 1:22

The book of james has 108 verses, and it outlines how we can put our faith into action. It was written by Jesus’ half-brother, the natural-born son of Mary and Joseph. Apparently, james became a believer as a result of the resurrection. Paul said that after Jesus rose from the grave, “he appeared to james, then to all the apostles” (1 Corinthians 15:7 NIV).

Somewhere, privately and personally, the risen Lord met with james, and His little brother’s life was never the same. After his encounter with his older brother, who was the victorious-over-death Godman, james grew in faith and became the undisputed leader of the Jerusalem church. The apostle Paul referred to him as a pillar of the church (see Galatians 2:9), and tradition tells us that james was so devoted to prayer that he was given the nickname “camel knees” because of the calluses resulting from the hours he spent on his knees. Today we are 2,000 years removed from james’ writing, yet his letter remains as relevant to us as the Internet’s morning news. The central message of his book is contained in these words: “Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” james addresses our biggest challenge: practicing with our lives what we proclaim with our lips. In every paragraph, he reminds us that when we are walking in step with the Holy Spirit, we will not be wearing out the seat of our pants, but the soles of our shoes. We will put shoe leather to what we say we believe and be “doers of the Word.”

O LORD, You broke the heads of the dragons in the waters (Psa.74:13)
By the blood of Jesus, I cut off the head of every hydra.

In the name of Jesus, I destroy the heads of leviathan as pieces of dust (Psa.74:14)

In the name of Jesus, I dry up your rivers, your seas and your springs (Isa.19:5)

I call for a drought upon leviathan’s waters in the name of Jesus (Jer.50:38; Jer.51:36)

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. I humble myself before You today. I acknowledge that You are the God of truth, peace, and clarity, and You are not the author of confusion. You are the God who brings unity where the enemy has sown division.

Lord, I repent for every way I have partnered with the spirit of Leviathan, whether knowingly or unknowingly. I repent for pride, for offense, for harsh words, for slander, and for judging my brothers and sisters in Christ. I repent for gossip that I justified as truth, and for being quick to speak but slow to listen. Forgive me, God, for any bitterness that has taken root in my heart. Forgive me for making assumptions, for taking things personally, and for giving the enemy a foothold in my mind or relationships.

Your Word says in Job 41 that Leviathan is the king over the children of pride. Today, I choose to lay my pride at Your feet. I refuse to let pride be the throne the enemy sits on in my life. I submit to You, God. I resist the devil, and Your Word says he will flee. (james 4:6–7)

Father, I renounce every curse I have spoken. I break every word curse spoken over me. I silence the lies of the enemy with the truth of Your Word. I plead the blood of Jesus over my mind, my relationships, my family, my ministry, and every area of communication. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment, I condemn. This is my heritage as a servant of the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17)

I bind the spirit of Leviathan right now in the name of Jesus. Every twisting spirit. Every confusing word. Every demonic fog. Every false accusation. Every slanderous report. Every campaign of spiritual witchcraft designed to isolate, attack, and destroy, be broken now in Jesus’ name. I command all confusion to lift. Let the fog clear and the static be silenced. Let truth arise and unity be restored.

Holy Spirit, search my heart. If there is anything in me that offends You, reveal it. Teach me to walk in humility, to honor others above myself, and to stay teachable. Teach me to bless instead of curse. Teach me to pray instead of retaliate. Teach me to love when I want to withdraw. Teach me to forgive quickly and without conditions.

God, Your Word in Luke 6:28 says to bless those who curse us and pray for those who spitefully use us. So I bless those who have spoken against me. I speak peace over those who have misunderstood me. I speak restoration over every broken relationship. I pray for those who have accused me or misjudged me. May they be filled with Your love. May they hear Your voice clearly. May they walk in the fullness of their calling.

Where the enemy has tried to divide, I declare healing. Where he has tried to twist, I speak clarity. Where he has tried to isolate, I speak connection. Where he has tried to wear me down, I speak refreshing.

I take up the weapons You have given me. I choose humility as my shield. I choose blessing as my sword. I choose love as my strategy. I stand under the authority of Christ, and I declare that the spirit of Leviathan is defeated. I walk in freedom. I walk in unity. I walk in truth.

Thank You, Lord, that You never leave me defenseless. Thank You that You expose what the enemy tries to hide. Thank You that You are faithful to deliver and mighty to restore.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen.

Think About It

Do you ever think about what you think about? Or recognize that your thoughts have power? Or consider how, over time, you’ll become what you think? 

Writing from a Roman prison to the believers in the Greek city of Philippi, the apostle Paul knew firsthand the importance of battling hard things with true thoughts. He regularly dealt with opposition, weakness, hardship, and persecution. 

But Paul also knew that Jesus-followers were called to a different way of thinking…

Even in a broken world, God has created good things, and He’s empowered us to notice and to praise Him for it. 

The apostle james also reminds us that every good and perfect gift is from God, and Jesus tells us that He is the way, the truth, and the life. So when we focus on what is good and truth-filled, our thoughts shift toward God—the giver of good things and the author of all that is true.

Focusing on what is good might look like reflecting on Jesus’ sacrifice for you. It could mean remembering a time when you felt God protect, provide, or prepare you. Or it could look like thanking God for the promises He’s kept, and the love He’s shown you. 

Following Paul’s advice isn’t about practicing positive thinking—it’s about fixing our thoughts on God in order to cultivate the mind of Christ in our everyday lives.

So today, think about what you think about. Search for a rhythm of gratefulness and worship. Thank God for opportunities to shine light into a dark world. And look for what is good, pure, and true wherever you go.

Lagos will elect a new governor on 6 February 2027. INEC has published the final list of 17 candidates. The real question many Lagosians are asking is simple: Who is the best candidate? After checking INEC records, the 2023 tribunal judgments, and what the leading candidates said at The Platform town hall on 1 October 2026, here are five practical ways to judge.

1. Who is legally cleared by INEC?
Under Section 182 of the 1999 Constitution, a candidate must be a Nigerian citizen, at least 35 years old, a member of a political party, and educated to at least School Certificate level. Dual citizenship with an oath of allegiance to another country can disqualify a person unless it has been properly renounced.
As of the final list released by INEC in October 2026, 17 candidates were cleared. The major ones include:
• Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat (APC) – running mate: Princess Damilola Sonayon james
• Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (ADC)
• Funso Doherty (NDC)
• Adedeji Doherty (PDP)
• Others from APM, APP, SDP, AAC, Accord, LP, etc.

None of the major candidates was disqualified on citizenship or certificate grounds. The dual citizenship petition against Hamzat from 2023 was dismissed by the tribunal for lack of certified evidence.

2. Who has a verifiable track record in Lagos?

Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat (KOH):
Born 19 September 1964 in Lagos. Mother from Iga Egbe, Lagos. Father, the late Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat, served as a member of the Lagos House of Assembly and Commissioner for Transportation (1979–1983).
Hamzat served as Commissioner for Science and Technology and later Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure. He has been Deputy Governor since 29 May 2019 — the first person in Lagos history to serve two full terms in that office. He won the APC primary with 657,917 votes.

At The Platform on 1 October 2026, he said: “Any levy that is unauthorised must go. No one should stand at the junction collecting levy.”
He also presented The Lagos Promise (Ìlérí Èkó) — a 100-point agenda (87 firm commitments and 13 aspirations) that residents can track.

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour
Architect, MIT-trained. Ran under Labour Party in 2023 and performed strongly among young voters in parts of Alimosho, Eti-Osa and Ikeja. Now running under ADC. His main message is private-sector-led development.

Funso Doherty
Chartered accountant and former private-sector CEO. His message centres on fiscal discipline, auditing Lagos IGR, and blocking leakages.

3. Who has a clear plan for the things Lagosians complain about daily?
Housing
• Hamzat: Mortgage reform (including lower initial payment), decentralisation of development to Epe, Ikorodu and Badagry, and waste transfer stations.
• Rhodes-Vivour: 100,000 homes through private developers, with government providing land and infrastructure.
• Funso Doherty: Audit existing housing schemes and bring in private capital.

Traffic
Hamzat’s comment at Podfest was widely distorted. The full context was that traffic has become a period when people consume content (podcasts, music, films). His actual plan in The Lagos Promise focuses on junction improvement, signal restoration, rail expansion, bus network growth, and better integration of transport modes.

Unauthorised Levies / Agbero
All major candidates promised to tackle multiple levies. Hamzat was very direct at The Platform: any unauthorised levy must go, and no one should stand at junctions collecting money.

4. Who can win across IBILE?
APC has governed Lagos since 1999. In 2023, even though Labour Party won the presidential election in Lagos, APC still won the governorship with 762,134 votes.

APC remains strongest in Epe, Ikorodu, Badagry and large parts of Ikeja. Rhodes-Vivour’s 2023 strength was among younger and non-indigene voters in Eti-Osa, Kosofe, Alimosho and Lagos Mainland. Funso Doherty appeals more to professionals on the Island.
Lagos has over 7.4 million registered voters. The non-indigene vote will matter.

5. Who can govern both indigenes and non-indigenes?
Lagos is cosmopolitan. INEC lists Hamzat’s state of origin as Lagos. The 2023 tribunal dismissed origin-related challenges against him.
Rhodes-Vivour has a Yoruba father and Igbo mother. This helps with non-indigene support but sometimes attracts indigene-related attacks. Funso Doherty presents himself as a technocrat above ethnic politics.

So who should you vote for?
There is no single correct answer for everybody. It depends on what matters most to you.
• Choose Hamzat if you prioritise continuity, engineering/technocratic experience, ending unauthorised levies, and a published 100-point plan (The Lagos Promise) that can be tracked.
• Choose Rhodes-Vivour if you want a stronger private-sector approach to housing and you believe 27 years of APC rule is enough.
• Choose Funso Doherty if your main concern is fiscal discipline and cleaning up Lagos finances before new big projects.
• Choose others if you prefer a different party platform.

The most useful thing any serious voter can do is read the actual documents, especially The Lagos Promise (Ìlérí Èkó), and match the plans to the problems that affect you daily: housing, traffic, levies, jobs, or waste. Election Day is 6 February 2027. Check your polling unit on the INEC website, confirm your PVC, and rely only on verified sources.

THE BATTLE AGAINST DIVISION

Key Scripture:
“...And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand...” Mark 3:25 (KJV)

INTRODUCTION

Yesterday, we examined the Gate of Unity. Today, we consider the Battle Against Division because unity must be protected from anything that threatens it.

Division weakens families, marriages, churches, friendships, and organisations.

It often begins with pride, jealousy, gossip, misunderstanding, or unresolved offences.

When division grows, people who should be working together become opponents, wasting the time and resources that should be used for progress.

However, not every disagreement is division. Healthy relationships allow honest conversations, correction, and accountability.

The danger begins when differences lead to hatred, manipulation, and destructive conflict.

God has called us to build relationships, not destroy them.

UNDERSTAND THE DANGER OF DIVISION

1 Corinthians 1:10 (KJV) calls believers to unity and warns against divisions.

The Corinthian church experienced factions because people allowed personal loyalties and preferences to compete with their commitment to Christ.

Today, division can arise over leadership, recognition, money, family matters, or personal ambition.
When selfish interests become more important than God's purpose, relationships suffer and His work is hindered.

Keep Christ at the centre of your relationships and decisions.

WHY YOU MUST WIN THIS BATTLE

1. Division Weakens Families

Mark 3:25 teaches that a divided house cannot stand. Constant quarrels between spouses, siblings, or relatives can destroy trust and peace.

Do not allow a temporary disagreement to become a permanent family conflict. Seek fair, peaceful solutions.

2. Division Weakens the Church

“...That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another...” 1 Corinthians 12:25 (KJV)

Jealousy, gossip, and competition among believers weaken the Church and distract people from evangelism, prayer, discipleship, and service.

Celebrate the gifts of others and remember that we are members of one body.

3. Division Wastes Time and Resources

Philippians 2:2 encourages believers to have the same love and work together in one accord.

The energy spent on quarrelling and opposing one another could be used to solve problems and accomplish worthwhile goals.

Ask yourself: Am I using my strength to build, or wasting it fighting those I should be working with?

4. Division Destroys Trust

“...A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends...” Proverbs 16:28 (KJV)

Gossip, false accusations, and unverified reports can destroy even longstanding relationships.

Verify information before repeating it, listen to both sides, and avoid damaging another person's reputation through careless speech.

COMMON CAUSES OF DIVISION

1. Pride and Selfish Ambition

Philippians 2:3 teaches you to reject selfish ambition and walk in humility.

When people insist on recognition, positions, or having their way, division can arise. Learn to serve faithfully even when someone else receives the praise.

2. Gossip and False Information

Proverbs 18:17 reminds you that the first account of a matter may sound convincing until it is examined.

Do not judge people based on one report. Establish the facts and give those concerned a fair opportunity to explain themselves.

3. Unforgiveness

Colossians 3:13 calls us to forgive one another as Christ has forgiven us.

Unresolved offences can turn small disagreements into lasting conflicts. Forgiveness releases personal revenge, although rebuilding trust may require repentance, changed behaviour, and time.

4. Jealousy and Unhealthy Competition

“...For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work...” james 3:16 (KJV)

Another person's success is not your failure. Celebrate others, improve your own contribution, and trust God with your progress.

5. Refusal to Communicate

Assumptions and silence can allow misunderstandings to grow. Where appropriate and safe, discuss concerns respectfully rather than spreading them to others.

HOW TO WIN THE BATTLE AGAINST DIVISION

1. Put Christ Above Personal Interests

Colossians 3:14 teaches that love is the bond of perfectness.
Ask whether you are seeking a godly solution or simply trying to win an argument. Let Christ guide your attitudes and decisions.

2. Refuse to Spread Gossip

“...Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers...” Ephesians 4:29 (KJV)

Before speaking about another person, ask:

Is it true?
Is it necessary?
Will it help resolve the problem?
Do not allow your mouth to become a weapon against the unity God wants you to protect.

3. Resolve Conflicts Wisely

Matthew 18:15 teaches you to address personal offences directly and appropriately.
Calm yourself, establish the facts, listen carefully, and speak respectfully. Where necessary, seek help from an impartial and trustworthy person.

Serious matters involving abuse, threats, or danger may require professional assistance or formal reporting. Peace must never be used as an excuse to conceal wrongdoing.

4. Practise Humility and Forgiveness

Ephesians 4:2–3 calls you to walk in humility, patience, love, and unity.

If you have contributed to a conflict, acknowledge your part and apologise sincerely. Forgiveness does not remove accountability, and restored trust may take time.

5. Celebrate Others and Pray for Wisdom

Romans 12:15 teaches you to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.

Do not undermine others because of their success. Ask God for wisdom to handle difficult relationships and the grace to pursue peace without abandoning truth.

CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE

“...For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;...” Ephesians 2:14 (KJV)

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us to God and demonstrate the power of His love.

As His followers, we must reject hatred, pride, revenge, and unnecessary hostility. We are called to pursue peace while standing for truth and righteousness.
Because Christ is our peace, we must refuse to become instruments of destructive division.

A LIFE ILLUSTRATION

Imagine workers building a house. One lays the foundation, another prepares the blocks, and another raises the walls.
If they begin quarrelling, hiding tools, and criticising one another, the building will progress slowly despite their skills and available materials.
The problem is not a lack of ability but a lack of cooperation.
The same happens in families, churches, and organisations. Do not spend your life fighting the people with whom you should be building.

SELF-EVALUATION QUESTIONS

Have my words or actions contributed to division?
Do I spread information before verifying the facts?
Am I holding on to old offences?
Do I become jealous when others succeed?
Am I willing to apologise when I am wrong?

What can I do today to promote peace and unity?
Answer honestly before God. Take responsibility for your part and begin to make necessary changes.

CALL TO DECISION

Today, decide not to become an instrument of destructive division.
Reject gossip, jealousy, selfish ambition, and unforgiveness. Practise honest communication, humility, forgiveness, and wise conflict resolution.
If you have wronged someone, acknowledge it and make amends. If you have been wronged, pursue truth and justice without allowing hatred to control your heart.
Be a builder, not a destroyer. Do not become the reason a relationship collapses when God has called you to be part of the solution.

LITTLE WISDOM

Division turns partners into opponents, but humility, truth, and love help people work together towards a common purpose.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, forgive me for every attitude, word, or action through which I have contributed to division.
Deliver me from pride, jealousy, gossip, selfish ambition, and unforgiveness. Give me the humility to admit my mistakes, the wisdom to resolve conflicts, and the courage to speak the truth in love.
Help me to celebrate others, pursue peace, and protect the unity of my family and Your Church. Where I need to apologise, give me the grace to do so sincerely. Where I need to forgive or establish boundaries, guide me with Your wisdom.
Make me a builder of godly relationships and a faithful servant of Your purpose.
In Jesus Christ's mighty name, I pray. Amen.

CHAPTER 7: THE CHILDREN - LETTERS FROM IDEMBIA PRIMARY SCHOOL TO BRITISH MUSEUM

Chapter 6 was gunpowder - 36 barrels vs 1,100 guns.

Chapter 7 is children. Because Tower Bridge medal is for adults, Bonfire Night is for children, and our pavilion is for children.

I went to Community Primary School, Idembia, Ezza South, near 42JC+WQQ, and asked 5 children to write letter to British Museum.

I did not tell them what to write. I only told them Chapters 1-6.

Here are their letters, copied exactly as they wrote, with their permission, names changed to initials for privacy, but class kept.

LETTER 1 - From C.E., Primary 4, Age 10, Idembia

"Dear British Museum,

My name is C.E. I am 10 years. I live at Idembia near 42JC+WQQ.

My teacher said you have our Ofo. Ofo is not fetish stick. Ofo is truth.

My grandfather said Ofo is like judge's hammer. If you hold Ofo, you must say truth.

In 1905, British took Ofo from Onueke. They wrote near Afikpo. But we are Idembia, not Afikpo.

Please bring Ofo back to our pavilion at 42JC+WQQ so my grandfather can sit on stool and hold it.

We have solar light at night.

"Dear British Museum,

I read about Tower Bridge. They made 450 medals in 1894. One medal lost, they bought it back from eBay in 2025 for display. One medal.

We had 1,100 guns taken in 1905. London Gazette said 1,100 guns surrendered at Idembia, Abbia, Opotokum, Ndi-Agboro.

Why you remember 1 medal and forget 1,100 guns?

My father said gunpowder came from China, but Ezza made our own from charcoal. Is that why Major Cockburn attacked us at Oheki?

Please bring 1 gun back first, like Tower Bridge did 1 medal. Then bring all.

"Dear Sir,

I am F.U. I am 12. I want to be lawyer.

I read Chapter 4 LAW. You said British Museum Act 1963 Section 5 says you cannot return.

But our Ofo was taken 1905. That is 58 years before 1963 Act. How can 1963 law hold 1905 Ofo?

My teacher said law cannot go backward. That is ex post facto.

Also you returned human remains in 2009 law, you returned Nazi loot in 2022 law. You can pass new law for Ezza loot.

"Dear British Museum,

What is Bonfire Night?

My teacher showed Wales post about Gunpowder Plot 1605. 36 barrels. Guy Fawkes. Welsh Hugh Owen. They burn fire every 5th November for 420 years.

We have no Bonfire Night for Idembia 1905. We have 1,100 guns, no fire.

We built pavilion at 42JC+WQQ with solar light. At night we light solar, we read wall. Is that our Bonfire Night?

Please send photo of our guns so we can print and put fire behind it.

"Dear British Museum,

My grandfather is elder at Idembia. He sits on stool in pavilion.

He said before 1905, Omag's Kingdom was strong, never ruled by alien. Ezza said we stronger than Aro.

In January 1905, Major Cockburn came to Oheki and we attacked. In March-May 1905, he returned with soldiers, met opposition at Idembia, Abbia, Opotokum, Ndi-Agboro. Took 1,100 guns.

My grandfather said Shelby Davidson invented bell in 1908 to protect record strip. If record tears, bell rings.

Your record says 'fetish stick near Afikpo'. Our record says 'Ofo, Omag's Kingdom Idembia 42JC+WQQ'.

Record torn. Bell ringing.

We are bell.

Please return Ofo so my grandfather can hold before he dies.

2. WHAT WE DID WITH LETTERS

We did 4 things:

A) Pasted letters inside Record Book at pavilion - pages 91-100.

B) Scanned letters with phone, made QR codes:

QR 13: Letter N.O. Age 11
QR 14: Letter F.U. Age 12 future lawyer
QR 15: Letter B.I. Age 9 Bonfire
QR 16: Letter J.E. Age 11 granddaughter

QRs laminated and added to wall at 42JC+WQQ. Now wall has 16 QRs.

C) Added letters to FOI OMAG-1905-FOI-001 as supporting evidence - "Public interest - children of source community".

D) Sent copies to Nairaland thread https://www.nairaland.com/8777718/tower-bridge-bought-history-back as Chapter 7.

3. WHY CHILDREN LETTERS MATTER MORE THAN LAW

Tower Bridge medal story is adult story - archive, eBay, money.

Gunpowder Plot 1605 is adult story - spymaster, Catholic, Protestant, King james, Parliament.

Ezza 1905 is children story - because guns taken from fathers, Ofo taken from elders, now children have no Ofo to see.

British Museum Act 1963 was written by adults who never went to Idembia.

Pavilion at 42JC+WQQ was built by adults for children.

Solar light 20W is for children to read at night after farm.

That is why children letters are Bell - Shelby Davidson bell was invented to protect record strip for future, children are future.

4. WHAT TOWER BRIDGE AND WALES POST TEACH CHILDREN

We used Wales Gunpowder post in class:

Teacher asks: "How many barrels in London 1605?" Children: "36 barrels!"

Teacher asks: "How many guns in Idembia 1905?" Children: "1,100 guns!"

Teacher asks: "How many years they remember London?" Children: "420 years!"

Teacher asks: "How many years they forgot Idembia?" Children: "120 years!"

Teacher asks: "What is code?" Children shout: "OMAG-1905-BM-001!"

Teacher asks: "Where is home?" Children shout: "42JC+WQQ Idembia!"

Teacher asks: "What do we want?" Children shout: "Return!"

That is school. That is pavilion. That is bell.

5. WHAT WE WANT FOR CHAPTER 7

We want British Museum to reply not to adults at 42JC+WQQ, but to children.

Simple reply:

One letter like that - children will frame it on mud wall. That is more than 32,500 naira.

6. CONCLUSION OF CHAPTER 7

Chapter 7 proves we did not just build pavilion with mud and solar. We built pavilion with children.

5 letters. 5 QR codes. Ages 9,10,11,11,12.

Future lawyer F.U. already knows ex post facto.

Future elder J.E. already knows Shelby Davidson bell.

B.I. age 9 already knows Bonfire Night and wants Bonfire Night for Idembia.

Tower Bridge bought back 1 medal from eBay for archive.

We are asking British Museum to give back 1 Ofo from store for children.

If Tower Bridge can, British Museum can.

Remembrance must go both ways, and must go to children.

If Britain can trace route from France to Westminster to honour one unknown soldier, and trace Welsh spymaster from Rome to Llanrothal to remember 36 barrels for children to burn bonfire, Britain can trace route from London to 42JC+WQQ Idembia to return Ofo for children to hold, and will find pavilion waiting with 5 letters and stool and solar light.

Someone sent me this Facebook post today from "The History of Wales" - Welsh connections to Gunpowder Plot 5th November 1605.

I read it and I vexed and I praised at same time.

They remember 1605 in Wales. They remember 1894 at Tower Bridge. But they forget 1905 at Idembia.

This is Chapter 6.

1. WHAT THE WALES POST SAYS - I COPY HERE FOR RECORD

Post says:

"The Gunpowder Plot of 1605 was a failed attempt by Catholic group led by Robert Catesby to kill King james I by blowing up House of Lords during State Opening of England's Parliament. One conspirator, Guy Fawkes, was discovered guarding 36 barrels of gunpowder. He was sentenced, along with seven other conspirators, to be hanged, drawn and quartered.

* Welsh spymaster Hugh Owen (1538-1618) a fervent Catholic who had vowed to destroy Protestant Order, is believed to have masterminded Gunpowder Plot. He had helped plan Spanish Armada and was implicated in plots to assassinate Queen Elizabeth I... It is believed that it was Owen who originally introduced Guy Fawkes to other conspirators, and Owen was also named in Fawkes trial as the man 'whose finger hath been in every treason which hath been of late years detected'. Owen escaped retribution... died peacefully of old age in Rome.

* Father Robert Jones who resided at Jesuits' South Wales Mission 'Cwm' in Llanrothal, Herefordshire, was implicated in attempt to save two perpetrators.

* Dr Thomas Williams, rector of St Peter's Church, Llanbedr-y-Cennin was suspected of being privy to plot as he persuaded Sir John Wynn of Gwydir Castle and MP for Caernarfonshire not to attend House..."

2. WHY THIS POST IS IMPORTANT TO US AT 42JC+WQQ

Britain remembers 36 barrels of gunpowder from 1605 every year on 5th November. Bonfire Night. Guy Fawkes Night. Children burn effigy. 420 YEARS they remember.

They know names: Robert Catesby, Guy Fawkes, Hugh Owen Welsh, Robert Jones, Thomas Williams, John Wynn of Gwydir Castle. They know village: Cwm Llanrothal, Llanbedr-y-Cennin, Gwydir Castle.

They know number: 36 barrels.

They know place: House of Lords, Westminster.

420 years - still remembered, still taught, still posted on Facebook "The History of Wales" 1 minute ago.

Now come to our own:

In 1905, at Idembia, Abbia, Opotokum, Ndi-Agboro, Oheki - Ezza country.

London Gazette 23 Feb 1906 page says: "Opposition was met with at Idembia, Abbia, Opotokum, and Ndi-Agboro"

1,100 guns surrendered. Not 36 barrels. One thousand one hundred.

Who remembers? Who posts? Who makes Bonfire Night for Idembia?

British Museum label says: "Af 1905,0715.3 - Wooden figure, horned, Nigeria. Donor: Lt Col H.C. Moorhouse, 1905" and "Fetish stick from rebel village near Afikpo"

Near Afikpo! Not Idembia. Not Omag's Kingdom. Not 42JC+WQQ. Not 1,100 guns.

36 barrels in London = 420 years memory with village names.

1,100 guns in Idembia = 120 years forgetting with village name erased.

This is why we built pavilion at 42JC+WQQ. This is why we are bell.

3. WHO INVENTED GUNPOWDER? - TRUTH

My brother said "I think we invented this before them" - I understand him. He means Ezza power.

True history for record:

- Gunpowder first invented in China, 9th century Tang Dynasty, by alchemists. Not Britain. Not Ezza. It travelled via Silk Road, Arab traders, to Africa and Europe.

- What Ezza invented before 1905 is LOCAL GUNPOWDER - Ezza black powder from local charcoal, saltpeter from cave, sulfur, and local gun making, and war strategy that made British say in 1906: "Ezza country... declared themselves stronger than Aro, and never under control of alien".

That is Ezza invention. That is Isar. That is Ikenga. That is Ofo justice that held kingdom together without alien rule.

- In 1605, Guy Fawkes had 36 barrels of imported gunpowder to blow up Parliament.

- In 1905, Ezza had 1,100 guns defending Onueke, Idembia, using local powder and skill, against Southern Nigeria Regiment led by Major C. Cockburn who was attacked at Oheki January 1905 and returned March-May 1905.

So when they display our guns as "1905.55.12 - Wooden figure, Ezza - presented by Major C. Cockburn" in Pitt Rivers Oxford, they hide that those guns were Ezza technology.

4. SHELBY DAVIDSON BELL 1908 - OUR BELL FOR GUNPOWDER RECORD
