I will ever be grateful for my Wiko slide 2 gift. On my own I wud preferred buying Samsung and d likes. But this wiko slide 2 has been working perfectly for the past 11months. I remember wen my uncle's wife sent a school bag that was cylinderic in shape i.e it looked like a talking drum, dat was how my seat mate in sch said we should use my bag to form "kolo" so dat we can put money inside, so we used razor blade to cut d top. I woke up yesterday and I felt like crying, I have never felt so sad about my school. Will this year be a total waste for us, it's December and we are yet to right the first semester exams we resumed in April for. What a school, What a State, What a country.

The much awaited meeting of the Academic staff union of Ladoke Akintola University of technology reached no positive outcome.
Students of this institution has been on strike for 7 months and it was believed that the fate of the students resumption was to be decided today !
The ASUU meeting held at 250LT of the institution and started at 12:00pm December 7th 2016.
After much consideration from both ASUU and the stakeholders , it was assumed that both Oyo and Osun state governments weren’t ready to fund the institution and on this its most likely the management of the school result into generating income internally which has been a great help to the institution over the past few sessions .
Rumor has it that if ASUU Lautech decides to resume without the necessary funding from both oyo and osun state government the tuition fees of Lautech would increase from the earlier N65,000 to N350,000.
The management of Lautech hasn’t decided on which date the students are to return back to school to complete their academic session, but the students are hoping on a positive news from the SOON.
ASUU Lautech are bent on “no resumption” if the tuition fees would be increased, it is also believed that ASUU Lautech are “fighting” for a better welfarism of the students
Better and more conducive Lecture theaters for the number of students been admitted annually
Pension for every retired employee of Lautech
The arrers should be dully paid
This amidst other request are what the union of the university are “fighting” for.
The students of Lautech believe 2016 academic year has been a waste , 7 month strike and no postive or likely day of resumption.
The Government of Oyo state and osun state should fufil their vows over the institution jointly owned by them.
After the Peaceful Protest by the students of Ladoke Akintola University of technology which resulted in the lock down of Major roads in Ogbomosho where the institution is located
The Government of Both owners state have turned deaf ears to the request of both the students and the union in the university..!!
The big question now is :-
If Oyo and Osun state governmentt cant fund the institution, can Federal Government take over from them?
when is Lautech going to resume?
Is the economic recession of the country affecting Lautech?
Would year 2016 really waste for Lautech students?
Why cant NANS fight for Lautech?
This and more questions are whats bothering the minds of Lautech Students!!
All students of Lautech are expecting the resumption date in their Emails, which should hopefully be announced soon …….
